OH MY GOD I've just gone to order this, I had forgotten my password, so had to input my email address, no security questions were asked, it simply emailed the password to me. Logged in...and the order was confirmed immedietely. I didn't have to input any of my card details, not even the security code. Surely this level of security can't be real???
I phoned up to enquire about this as it didn't seem right, and the woman didnt get what I was on about - my 8 year old daughter could have done this! She just kept telling me to keep my email address secret - huh?
I don't usually rant about stuff like this, but even a security question before they send the password would be better.
I've cancelled the order and don't think I'll dare shop there again. Maybe its just me being paranoid but this isn't normal is it?

I think (but obviously could be wrong) that the person you spoke to probably meant keep the password to your email account secret, someone can only get your play.com password if they can log on to your email account as this is where the password is sent

I don't have a password on the email, its all downloaded to the comp. Bit worrying that they are even storing the CVV number, I was sure that was illegal, but am obviously wrong.
