A fun addition to bath time and to the nursery, this Tesco loves Baby and toddler bath and room thermometer is shaped like a friendly hippo. At bath time, the hippo floats, making it easy to read the temperature of the water from the clear LCD display.

For comfort and safety, baby’s bath water should be at a maximum of 37ºC. If the bath water temperature reaches or exceeds 39ºC, the light above the display blinks red, warning you that the water is too hot for baby.

Do people really need this? How about your wrist or elbow to test the water? I think it's one of the gadget that will be used twice and then be forgotten.

I disagree. My partner thinks luke warm water is too hot and I prefer scalding baths so we use ours every time!

Definitely not a 'gadget'. We use ours every time, same as other poster says, my partner and I differ massively on what we think is too hot. It's also amazing how much calmer the baby is in the bath when it's same as womb temperature.

Agree with other posts, it's not a just another gadget.
We used ours every time when our little boy was small. That one has since broken - so will definitely be buying a new one before #2 is born in August!

Unfortunately some people may not have elbows.

I bought this and use it everyday still working fine after 8 months !

I agree to use these, for bath and the temp in room. I think they are a must have although I like the Philips flower bath n room thermometer the best which can get cheaper than the ships in Amazon

Excellent bath thermometer. Good price and after 8 months still working.

We have always used this thermometer in our 6 months old's baths since she was a few days old, can't fault it, definitely got our money's worth from it!

I always use one. My husband used his elbow once and it turned out to be 21 degrees!

Mine died after a handful of uses in bath. Changed the battery so it would work if you hit it beforehand to get it going. After a few months it died again!!

we've used ours every day for the same reason that me and other Hal have different opinions
