It's good for the price but the quality is not there. My sister bought the bat one and the clip broke the first time they used it. They sent a replacement and that has also broke but did get a bit of usage out of it. I paid out for the expensive version with fairy wings and had no issues.

Perfect thanks

Just ordered, thanks!

I got one of these last time, not used it yet so not sure about the quality but worth trying now whilst the price is low!

yep yep take your baby for a walk! next to your dog (or instead)

C O L D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought one last time and have had no problems with quality.

these are for responsible parents, I use one and it's a god send, I'm not bothered what idiots think my child is safe!!! Hot

i bought one of these last time , it broke the first time i used it , its a nice little bag but the clasp is dreadful my little girl like to run stop run stop - luckily it broke no where near a road - i dread to think what would happen to a toddler who was near a road when it decides to break - if you can afford something a little better i would pay extra for the peace of mind x

picture is miss leading they are small and my 2 year old toddler couldn't get it on bad poor quality save your £2

are you serious??!!
yes... of course it makes much more sense to let a wilful 2 year old snatch their hand out of yours and run away near a busy road!

Ridiculous, totally ignorant comment. Most parents, as some have already said, will tell you these are a necessity. Ideally we wouldn't need these but toddlers are impulsive and don't always understand the dangers around them. As for this item, as others have said, the straps break easily. My wife sewed them back on as she liked the bag's design which has done just the trick.

Can buy them cheaper delivered on ebay

I have the ladybird one and no quality issues on mine save for a few loose threads. hot.

My toddler has to carry round his medication wherever he goes, the ladybird bag is perfect size for these and a nappy. I wouldn't use the rein as I prefer the traditional ones but as a small bag for his essentials its perfect and he loves to carry it.

cheaper slightly here amazon.co.uk/exe…uct then look on right choose little baby boutique seller for £2.16 delivered,, every little helps.

and makes it cheaper than ebay

I got one last time. Took over a month and came from China. Really small. Too small for my 2 yr old. Couldn't even get rid of it for 25p at a car boot last week. Save your £2!

I bought these and they are utter crap, I had the bat ones clip broke straight away, got a replacement which also broke after 2 uses, the stitching has come apart at the shoulders after a handful of uses I could have made a better quality item myself! Avoid not even worth £1!

I got one of these for my little girl cos I couldn't afford one of the Little Life (I think they're called) ones. My little girl is nearly 3 years old now & I don't have any issues with the size of it, but the quality isn't the best. I've had it for about a year - a year & a half now. She really pulls on it & is quite strong!! To be fair, it's lasted quite well but I can see the stitching of the strap you hold starting to come away from the bag, so I don't know how much longer it'll last. Thankfully I managed to pick up a Little Life one for a few pounds at a car boot last week, so I'll be using that from now on. I got mine, like this, with the red strap to hold, from an ebay seller in the UK. My sister ordered one from china. Hers came with a black strap to hold. I don't know if there's a difference in quality? I would happily buy one again, as it has lasted quite well for the price.

I had 3 children fairly close in age and never used them.

What's wrong with holding their hand in a busy area and teaching road safety from a young age?

If you are pulling on them then that's pretty bad and is going to frustrate a toddler, and if you aren't pulling on them then you are just following them around wherever they want to go anyway, so I don't really see the use?

When you have multiple children, bags of shopping and maybe a little one in a buggy these are a fantastic way of ensuring toddlers do not run into the road. Even if you just want to use it to give them a little freedom without the worry of them taking off so what. I don't believe a child would be psychologically damaged by the use of reins!

Aren't you the perfect parent!!!!

No far from it, but I still don't see the use in them. Maybe there's something I'm not getting but I held their hand if we were walking somewhere they needed to be kept safe.

I have a toddler boy and a newborn...and the littlelife spider rucksack. The idea is the same as reins which for me is an essential for peace of mind as well as holding my boys hand. I recommend anything that makes your life easier.

my clip broke the first time I used it. Not worth it.

Just got the Batman one. A little stocking filler for my nephew.

Cheers guys

True. but the harness gives them the freedom to explore while you can keep a hold on them. They can use both hands, and the parent feels safer.

Ordered ladybird one heat!

Seriously cheap, not sure the quality is there though. I import and sell Goldbug Harnesses and I can't even buy anywhere near what these people are selling at, but at least with Goldbug the quality is there.

I have one of these bought a few weeks ago, anyway, they are small!
Even with the chest strap extended to max it's a tight fit, will have to stitch some new chest straps onto it! But for a couple of quid I can't complain too much!!

The batman one is smaller than in the picture but it's very cute.
Clip broke straight away on ours too, but replaced with our own carrabina and the rest of it seems safe/strong.
Still good deal I think.

I bought one of these for the odd time I take the baby out in pram and have the toddler too (21 months) on my own that insists on walking.

She is really good and holds my hand / doesn't really run off, but it just gives me a bit of extra reassurance that if she slips my hand by the road while I am pushing the buggy that she is safe.

I thought it was great for the money. I have used mine about twice so wouldn't want to pay for a better quality one.

Even without the reigns it is a really cute little ladybird backpack, fits a few bits in and any bigger than this would be too big for my little girl to carry.

Know a lot disagree but thumbs up from me

Got mine cheaper on eBay...here's an example save me trailing through my feedback, mine were only £1.99 delivered though x

I bought one of these about a year ago, seemed ok, not best quality, but after about 6months of use the clip snapped, so you get what you pay for. Think its ok for occasional use.

Guess you never took them out for walks then - did the childminder do that bit or did you just keep them strapped in the buggy until they were 3?

We have various harnesses and it has saved our toddler MANY times even just from falling onto glass shards or picking up random dangerous stuff off the pavement, it's just common sense, and anyone who disagrees either is one of "those" righteous parents (though I'm not sure what's even to be righteous about - get a life - geez) or hasnt had to take a 2 year old for a walk for more than 10 yards ever.
