can you recommend a good carrier please? Much appreciated xx

@London2014 Depending on the age and size of your baby there are lots of good carriers available. For newborn-3 months, a stretchy wrap like a Moby is great, or something like a Close Caboo, which lots of people find a little easier. There are lots of other alternatives as your LO grows- buckled carriers like Connectas, Ergos, Action Baby Carriers, Rose & Rebellion, Tula, Kinderpack, Wompat and many more; asian style carriers (mei teis) like Baby/ Toddler Hawks, Hop Tyes, Didytais, and more; woven wraps- some cheaper brands are Lenny Lamb, Little Frog, Didymos.

I personally have had a Moby stretchy, a Rose and Rebellion buckles, an Action Baby Carrier, a Connecta, a water sling, a Didymos wrap, an Oscha wrap and a Hop Tye (Gosh, that sounds a lot!!) and have a Wompat on the way!! I loved all of them, they all have different qualities.

If you use Facebook, a few good groups are: Affordable Baby Slings for Sale or Swap, and Slings and Things - FSOT and Advice. You should also be able to find a local sling library where you can go and try different types of carriers to see what is comfiest for you and baby, and you can usually hire them as well.

Hope this helps!
