If you don't know what it is then why even comment?

People who have used the item or researched it using Google know the cost and benefits of this.....and the normal price!!
Voted hot, one of my best baby buys and they have a decent resale value

I know what it is as it cleary states in the title. What I asked was why is the cost so high.

Is that you're explanation?

The build quality is excellent and the materials used appear premium. The seat is very comfortable (our baby slept in it quite a bit for naps). The motion is very smooth, when it bounces its seamless, not jaggedy. The whole seat part slides off to then go in the washing machine and you can just wipe down the frame. The frame has adjustable heights. Once they outgrow the bouncer part, you turn the insert over and it becomes a simple chair. I spent slightly more this this on it 2 years ago and I wouldn't hesitate to spend it again. We also got the Baby Bjorn travel cot which has proved to be one of the best buys ever (albeit expensive but similar to above reasons, the quality is outstanding and it sets up and takes down in literally 2 mins and weight only something like 6kg so is ultra portable)
I must have a got right bargain. ..went to the local church second hand shop and bought one of these for £3. I didn't have a clue either until the daughter told me the original price they retail at

An essential bit of kit for those early months

Does it bounce for older babies too or us it just a chair? My daughter is 5 months and she has outgrown her first bouncer but she really loves it

He is nearly 8 months and almost 10kgs and he still uses it.

I have been checking online when to stop, some sites say 13kg and some 2y!

Thanks that's great
The absolute best bouncer available. Would be top of my list if I have another as was perfect for keeping him entertained watching me before he could sit up.

And did your son use it after he learned to sit up?

Yes, happily sat in it till way past he learnt to sit. Only stopped when he started wanting to move around and explore instead of being confined!
