Ideal for keeping the kids busy whilst you enjoy yours...

Babyccinos are now free in all our stores. What’s a Babyccino? It’s not a tiny pair of khaki trousers, it’s just lightly frothed milk in a tiny cup

55p previously for just the milk - hope it helps! (usually sprinkled with cinnamon or marshmallows which may incur a charge)

Oooh my little one loves these, normally 70p with either a marshmallow or small flake. I'm off to Costa later. Thanks for this
You can choose chocolate or just milk

Only the plain milk ones are free NO FLAKE OR MARSHMALLOWS.

The chocolate ones are called mini hot choc and are 55p and include flake or marshmallow.
Free ???? Do you need to buy an adult drink?

Very important question...
Good deal but Costa's coffee doesn't come anywhere close to the standard as Caffè Nero
Good to know.

Do Nero have the best babycinos in town? Toddlers are getting fussier these days...
Bit suspect about this, always treated my two to one of these after swimming and they were reasonably priced (for Costa). I don't want to have to but an overpriced coffee myself to get them free as it works out dearer...

Caffè Nero is most horrible coffee. Well l suppose we all have different taste.
Always been free in Starbucks and many store do a small kids milk for free as well
Starbucks told us they are not free anymore!!!
You can also have them hot or cold.

Depends where you go - most places I get these I'm asked if I want plain frothy milk or chocolate sprinkled on top.
It says on Costa page that it's free for the warm milk babychino only, 45p to add a flake or marshmallow. If you want the chocolate babychino "mini hot chocolate" that's still 55p and still includes a flake or marshmallow.
Not sure what the drink on the left is, but it's not a cappuccino.

Cappuccino = equal parts of coffee, steamed milk, and foam.
These babycinos are never shown on the list of prices board, so its very sneaky of them not to advertise it I would've saved a lot with my kids if I knew

That would be a café latte.
Used to be 55p for milk/warm chocolate milk with a flake or marshmallow. The flake and marshmallow are no longer included (according to the manager that served me at Birstall Costa).

Heat for the freebie
So can you have this hot or cold? Also, my son is 10 - is there an age limit for this drink? Thank you.
Sat in a Costa now. The frothy milk is free, the baby chocolate is still 55p, the board says free against babychinno, no mention of 55p until I went to pay 😡

Is coffee really an appropriate thing to be giving to kids? I mean maybe occasionally as they get older, say 11 or so but certainly not any younger.

I mean okay, cofffee is fairly harmless but children can be very sensitive to the effects of caffeine. It is after all an addictive psychoactive drug, and I dunno I just feel uncomfortable when any addictive psychoactive drug is marketed at children.

I believe it doesn't contain coffee, nor babies, nor chinos.
Furthermore, Costa is not exclusively from the coast.
These guys are misselling =p

Who said giving coffee to kids, its either milk or mini hot chocolate, nothing wrong or unhealthy for kids.
I took my little two this morning and paid for them both. They are not free at my local

It's frothy milk or a milky hot chocolate.... Not sure where it says a free coffee
It’s only the milk ones choc ones are now mini hot choc and cost 55p still
wish people supported the independents otherwise our high streets are going to be chain after chain from coffee shops to clothes
I got my little girl a baby chocochino this morning and was told that the flake and marshmallow are not included anymore due to the government sugar thingy!! my little girl still wanted the flake so I had to buy it for 40p! I think 40p for something that was free last week is a bit much! but its a treat and the only reason my little girl goes in there!
Don't get me wrong, it's not a big deal but it still could be argued they're marketing coffee to kids by calling it a babychino.
I hate kids.
