Babyliss Big Hair Dual Diamond - was £60 now half price at Boots. It's a really decent hairdryer and I'm on my 4th....price is good and I really tried to check that this was definitely the cheapest around for this. Free click and collect in store.

Newer models each year with improvements....I tend to have bought in the sales each time. This has the dual barrel so can easily switch between drying the fringe and the hair.....first models were one size only and no ability to adjust the barrels so I ended up buying a larger barrel one and a smaller barrel version. Longevity may not be "great" but The Babyliss model is the best against its competitors.

Great if you can blow dry your own hair to a salon finish with a hair dryer and a brush....however I can't and I find the finish it gives the hair to be worthwhile.
Good spot OP

This is by far the best electrical hair-styling product I've ever bought, an absolute must if you want that just walked out of the salon look

Not sure if the replacement brush heads can be used on this 2990U model?

Not sure-however as it comes with two barrels though it may well be enough for most.

Hmm...my current one is 2 years old and working still. Only problem is the brush head is not replaceable and the bristle splits very soon after first use. Once the bristle splits it doesn't grid hair well. It will be worthy to buy a new one with replaceable brush heads. Otherwise there is no need to spend another £30.
