Not taking away from the post but anyone considering buying this - Just get the iStubble.
It's the exact same clipper, length comber, features etc. all except the battery from what I've read: iStubble being far cheaper

I've had a few iStubble and they have broken on me, one just had rubbish battery and another I water damaged so yes if you can take care of it then maybe. The battery does make a big difference I don't have to charge it for a weeks and it has a number display in minutes for battery remaining (60 mins etc) also this is waterproof. I had the older version of this 7898U.

That said I wouldn't recommend this anymore either I would say go for the Philips one blade (link for reference not cheapest), wayyy wayyy better I can get near barbers finish and an even stubble length with it, just make sure you get one with the length you want, or the one with the adjustable length.

I could never get an even stubble with the babyliss

Agreed. Ignore all the other trimmers/Razors and buy a Philips One Blade Pro.

Is the one blade expensive to run though? It says blades only last up to 4 months.

Honestly i couldn't say I've had mine about 4 months now but i don't trim every day. It's not a blade in the traditional sense. Its more like an electric precision trimmer (moving blade) but somehow it works pretty darn well. Mine is still going strong, however I'm using mine as a beard trimmer rather than clean cut shaving, however it does that really well when im making clean lines still and neck area etc, I'm not feeling a difference compared to new works as good as ever IMO.

this is down to £50 now

I have the iStubble which is coming up to 4 years old now. It's been superb, still cuts as it should and lasts a couple of weeks on one full charge. I think I paid about £25 for it on sale in Sainsburys.
