I actually have a cherished photo of me as a baby sat in my grandad's favourite rocker, one of those leather ones, and this makes me think of it.

Christ, no offence but that's the kind of chair my grandad would own. I'd only buy my kid this if my missus gave birth to Benjamin Button.

Would you actually be buying your kid this? It's for the parent/carer and caring to rock in whilst holding baby, surely? Either way, I don't think saying it's something your grandad would own should be a negative. Having said that, I was wearing cardigans in my teens.

Oooh! I'm being completely honest here in case you think I'm joking but I thought the chair was for the baby not the parent to sit WITH the baby! In my defence it's hard to tell scale from a photo with no other point of reference

Haha. I just thought a stuffed giraffe on the site was overpriced until there was a picture of a child standing next to it. Made a bit more sense then.

Is it haunted? I always think rocking chairs are haunted.

For all the people freaking out thats its a rocking chair it can be turned into a normal chair as well. It has two sets of legs.

The box says 28.2kgs. so not the lightest

Its heavy and awkward to move. 28kgs as above sounds about right

If you got it delivered right into the room you needed, you might be okay, the chair is the right way up in the box so you can take the box apart and put it on its side to get the legs screwed on.
