reasonable fashion here under the stewardship of President John J.
Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner), which makes for some fantastical plot arcs

This might be an updated set.
Actually, I've watched this on a 4K tv via my xbox one s, and quite a lot of the scenes look immaculate - almost like new. Granted, the scenes with real life and CGI aren't brilliant, as they lost the original film cells and had to digitally zoom in on them to make them widescreen, but on the whole, it's still pretty good for it's age.
It’s the problem of having cutting edge effects, they are cutting edge then and only then.
That’s where 80s-90s Trek had the lead, they had an almost timeless look to them.
That said I’m team JMS all the way
I agree with the exception of the final episode of S5, as it was the intended ending for S4 but they left it to air at the end of 5 instead once they found out they were getting S5. Its also a great ep.
Edit: Actually I'd say its worth watching the last two of S5.
A groundbreaking series. One of the first I noticed that was episodic but had a story arc.
I was thinking that £40 was a bit pricey too but when you break it down it seems more reasonable.
£4 per season plus Crusade = 6 x £4 = £24
£1.66 per film (3 each in a box set package) = 2 x £5 = £10
£3 For, Lost Tales
So that's a quite conservative £37 for the whole kit and caboodle, brand new, vs £36 (if you qualify for the Quidco deal).
Yeh I just noticed it's quite soft with artifacts but good it's wide-screen, my older complete edition wasn't. Do you have any recommended settings?
