Nice price for this collection !

Babylon 5 is an American science fiction television series created, produced and largely written by J. Michael Straczynski. The show centers on the Babylon 5 space station: a focal point for politics, diplomacy, and conflict in the late 2250s and early 2260s. With its prominent use of pre-planned story arcs, the series was often described as a "novel for television."

The difference is this one is missing 3 films, Crusade and the Lost Tales compared to The Complete Universe.

The Complete Universe has all 5 series plus all 6 movies, plus Crusade, plus Lost Tales (i.e. Every Babylon 5 series/film ever, hence "The Complete Universe")......I'm not sure what about that was difficult to understand?

Original Poster

Sorry, I didn't realise there were 6 movies
I never watched the lost tales. Any good?

You're obviously a really nice person to apologise for an innocent mistake when someone has been unnecessarily really rude. Have some heat

i will wait for Blu Rays, and i do know it might take some time as the cost is going to be alot for them to transfer the sfx over to HD as its on video but they did plan ahead for everything else ie wide screen and loads of other things too i read up on why it was not out yet on Blu Ray its just cost them too much to transfer the sfx over from vid to HD but sometime soon i hope price will drop for that then yee haw.

Just what I was thinking, incredibly polite in spite of the socially inept attitude getting chucked his way.

I have the complete universe boxset bought for the average price it goes for which is about £50.

TBH if you are a fan this is a far better deal that that, Crusade is in my opinion just a waste of shelf space and Lost tales though OK seems to be an exercise in milking the market.

It's got the full five series and that's all that matters.

I really liked the series... but lost tales was shockingly bad!!!!!

Heat for the deal on the series though!!

Not really, no.
I wouldn't pay much extra for the complete set over and above this one

I don't want to think about how much I paid for all these seperate.... such a good series, some of the later films were a bit ****..

What? Not rude, just stating fact and I didn't see what was unclear about "The difference is this one is missing 3 films, Crusade and the Lost Tales compared to The Complete Universe." so I asked.....If you think that's rude you're clearly not cut out for the internet, you'll be horrified by most of it

It'll never happen. They made a right mess of it with mixed quality shots (in the live action and sfx shots) and they lost alot of quality blowing it up to widescreen. Price they paid for being ahead of their time really.

Was looking at the Complete Universe edition the other day, and that was going for around £45 on Hut group sites with their discount code. For the sake of a fiver I think I will stick with that version and get the few extra bits.

Yes, you were rude and condescending. Hiding behind a computer screen is not an excuse for ill manners. Someone has gone to the effort of posting a deal and has made an innocent query, your response was out of order. I'll assume your avatar is to do with the fact you were dragged up by the cat (yes, pot /kettle...but it never hurts to accept you have been in the wrong and say sorry you know)

Well no offence was intended, so naturally I unreservedly apologise for any caused. But if any unintended offence was caused then that's between djfluff and myself is it not.......

However, you absolutely intended offence, specifically and directly insulting me leaving no room for interpretation, and were sticking your nose into something which was none of your business, so I assume you'll be eating humble pie?

You posted on a public forum, thereby making your comment the business of all who use this forum. That you are unaware of this makes me question your understanding of the internet, though you feel I'm not 'cut out' for it. I've no doubt your apology will be appreciated by djfluff. Not keen on pie :p. but shall now return to my life rather than waste further time on this petty squabble. That you've seen the error of your ways is satisfaction enough for me.:D

Fair enough, but nether the less djfluff hasn't expressed that he took offence and as mentioned I didn't intend any.

I'm still awaiting my apology for your blatant insults, i did not intend to cause offence, you clearly did......or are you just a hypocrite looking to stir up trouble?

The really brilliant thing about his set is that for anyone who buys it they won't (unlike me) be forced to watch the Crusade series and Legend Of The Rangers film as I unfortunately felt obliged to do as I had paid for them but never seen them when I bought The Complete Universe set.

Trust me! inflicting that on even your worst enemy is cruel and unusual punishment
