The Floating Bath Cushion from Babytec is a float that provides a comfortable and safe way of bathing baby in the parent's bathtub. It's suitable for babies from 3kg to 8kg in weight and its compact size makes it ideal for travel. In the float, baby lies partially in the water, floating happily while the parent's hand is free to wash and entertain baby. The float will drip dry rapidly after use. It's a safe and convenient method of bathing a baby, but obviously this product is not intended to replace adult supervision of a baby in the bath.

Seems dangerous to me how long before some idiot leaves the baby alone
on it like a li-lo.

I'd guess the same idiots would leave a baby alone in the bath with or without this product

Unnecessary. Very small babies don't need actual baths. A splash of water is enough.

I think these are safer than either having a baby in a baby bath or when they're too big for those, sitting in an adult bath sliding around without something like this.

I've had a simple sponge version of one of these since my son was a few months old - he's 1 now and I still have him in the bath on it - saves him sliding around, and is the comment about leaving the baby alone for real?! I never have my eyes off him whatever he's doing, having this in the bath won't change that.

EDIT: Just realised this thing actually floats a bit, so not so sure about that! Just get a cheap sponge one from Mothercare that will sit on the bottom of the bath.

Not keen...doesn't seem safe to me

go in bath with baby until can sit up unaided
when can sit up get a nonslip mat
cheaper and imo better

hmm not sure i like this. I wouldn't bother with it. We had a towelling bath support for the baby so i could bath both girls together.
