I got it free on gamepass and honestly would have felt ripped off if I'd have paid anywhere near full price for it.
Very short campaign
ACT 1 - The Devil’s Return
ACT 2 - The Armory
ACT 3 - Dr. Rogers Neighborhood
ACT 4 - The Abomination
Yeah tiny campaign definitely no value here!
Average completion time 11 hours. Once you've done the campaign there's pretty much nothing else to do. Like I said...hollow game.
I've found completely the opposite, and I'm pretty sure you've not played with the card system in the game in 11 hours as you can't have unlocked many of them with just 11 hours play. For instance, there's absolutely no way you've completed the game on Veteran or Nightmare if you've only got 11 hours play, as even people with 30+ hours play with a back deck wouldn't be able to do it.
I've been playing it most days since it's been released. The card system allows you to tweak your characters in many different ways and makes playing with different firearms really fun. I've gone from being a brawler with Holly or Evangello to being a sniper with Jim or Walker. The characters as they stand are pretty much the same with only one tweak per character, but when you add in the card system you can make a really good deck which makes play through really fun and removes the tricky elements of the harder settings.
Have you played with the card system and gone through the harder difficulties? This is where the fun really starts!
I can totally understand your PoV if you've played it on Novice and just gone through the missions though, as that's a tiny part of the game.
That does seem quite short to be fair.
You didn't get it "free on Game Pass". Besides that I totally agree that the gameplay is hollow.
