Doesn’t the Prima Donna have a high opinion of itself?
Just picked mine up (didn't take an old machine in, and they didn't mention anything about it).

I will now be drinking gallons of coffee all day...

Thank you great find, just what I was looking for to replace my old machine..
Thanks
You will need to return an old coffee machine to use the discount code. Do they accept any machine? I have an old Tassimo one which cost me only £30 new

Most of the time with these trade in offers they don't bother following up. However if you did want to follow the terms and conditions, they say 'an old coffee machine'. It makes no mention about condition, value, or brand. You could trade in a scrap item that's worth less than a £5
Great price for the Primadonna range. Too band I'm broke.
Sweet deal, may order one.
Great deal given this was £1200 only a year ago and at that time a top of the range product. I know this is a niche product on here compared to computer games and cheap tat in the local supermarket but this should be the hottest deal of the day.

My Gaggia Platinum Vision is on its last legs and this is a great machine to replace it with - thanks OP.

There are loads of You Tube videos Delonghi have put up if people are undecided - just search for "delonghi 510.55".

This is a cracking deal. Thanks @dead4red69 Seriously tempted!

Ordered too, thanks OP heated

Don't understand the DeLonghi ranges, assume Prima Donna is top of the tree? Does this mean it comes with better grinders, quieter etc?

It's the top of the range, but like you say, delonghi have a perplexing array of devices.

True, but my current machine has lasted 10 years and cost £900. A £3, 250g bag of coffee will make about 20-30 shots of espresso depending on the strength you want. A coffee in Starbucks/Costa is £3 or so. I've saved loads of money over the years when I look at it like that. At £450 with a free service at 12m (regular servicing will keep the machine running longer) this is a steal if you like proper coffee.

Can that milk container keep the Milk cold? Until one of these machines does that, it’s such a hassle

According to the instructions you can clean the milk dispenser tubes after usage (the machine does this) then store the remaining milk in the milk dispenser in the fridge.

Yeh I had one like that and having to keep removing it was annoying. Are there any where you just pour the milk in?
Sorry, can't justify that much cash for a cup of coffee, I'll stick to my trusty caffeitere for now. Simple, does same job and can't go wrong.

So why even look at the post? Did you expect a coffee machine to do anything more than produce coffee?
Thanks OP! (only 6 left according to the page)
Guys - is this one of the best models available? Seems to be a load of models that look the same!
Seems a good deal. I've just bought this for my parents. We've had a lower model De'Longhi bean to cup machine for a few years now and it's been great but this will be a nice upgrade.

You don't have to use the milk carafe if you don't want, you can use the steam arm to froth the milk manually

Thanks mate! Pulled the trigger. A nice replacement for my old ESAM 4200. Also got 5% off through work.
Thanks OP. excellent spot - Bought...

Bought my last DeLonghi on eBay 2nd hand about 6 years ago for not much less than this. Worked fine for a good few years until it had a problem. Sent it back to DeLonghi expecting a sizable repair bill, turns out it was under warranty so they repaired for free.,,

Its more than a bit battered but still going strong; it get used ALOT. I was wondering what I would do for my caffeine fix when finally gives up... Now it getting cleaned up and going in the cupboard as a spare..

As other have said, a steal at this price... but it seems I had the last - showing OOS now..
Ordered thanks a lot for sharing op
OOS
Good coffee machine but don't count on the free gifts. They did a similar offer last year and I had to chase them numerous times to get the gifts. Still waiting for one of them a year later.
Good deal, I like the idea, but it's just too far off what I realistically need. Having said that, I've just won £2 on a scratch card - perhaps I should splash out...?

Plus a cafetierre might work out more expensive in the long beach run owing to wastage ,,,, depends on how much you drink and whether you favor coffee made using the espresso method with veena from the extracted oils
