Storage box with black lid.

These are great value. Brought 4 yesterday.

Don't trust C&C for Wilko as far as you can throw it. I ordered two items as Christmas presents on 4th December and chose C&C. The items never arrived in store and it took them over three weeks to refund me.

It is a shame mate, I've ordered these boxes last time when they were in stock on Saturday and they just been delivered to the store today. Maybe it's just your bad luck.

Still waiting for the 10 l ordered a week ago!

I find these to be weak and break/crack easily. Compare to 80L plastic tote boxes, for example secondhand off ebay at £6 each, these are far superior storage boxes. But obviously not as cosmetically pleasing for kids toys, but for garages or lofts they are great. I managed to find black ones previously at £6 not too far from me.

That ebay link leads to a removed item. Would you mind sharing a link to, for example, Amazon. Just so I can see what boxes you are talking about

Calling storage box experts. I'm looking for a shallow box like this to clean BBQ grills on. Any ideas ??

Morrisons have the same type . 80litre ones for a fiver aswell

Thank god it's back in stock again. Allahu akbar

Hi, not sure why that link is not working, but it's eBay item number: 201771777810 which i believe you should be able to find by just entering 201771777810 in the ebay search. cheers

Do those £6 tote boxes have lids? Without lids, items inside are more likely to suffer from damp if stored in a garage.
And they don't include delivery (I know the Wilkos ones don't either, but at least many people will have a store near them).
In my experience, the Wilko boxes are fine; I have about 20 of them in my garage. They stack well and are *fairly* robust. Every now and again I drop one and it breaks, but at £5 a go, that's OK for me. The lids are less robust than the boxes themselves.
Thanks for the tip on the tote boxes - horses for courses I guess.

Edit - I see the boxes you're referring to now. They look great. Shame there are none near me.

These are good for the price but lids are very flimsy ..

May be just bad luck mate I use wilko c&c all the time and never had a problem. In fact I ordered these boxes for c&c around christmas holidays and they arrived fine very quickly.

These are crap, lids are so brittle that they frequently smash. Check the ones in the store if you want to see for yourself, often loads are broken. Also make sure you check yours if you take a delivery. I would avoid them.

No worries ecclescake.
I have collected my boxes from the store right now and I must say these are pretty decent. For lightweight and medium heavy stuff they are bang on. I was expecting thin plastic but it is alright and perfect for my needs.

I think it's worth considering these Really Useful Storage Boxes (64L) if you want something that will last - hotukdeals.com/dea…712

Instead bought c graded ones from another seller.

Good enough for my underwear.

So I have lots of the Wilco type ones used for toy storage. I'd say fine for long term storage but if they are being moved about a lot, they will break soon due to being brittle. The Wilco ones are a great solution of you want large volumes of stuff out of the way for a while as the airtight seal prevents access for mice & spiders. Also moles, voles, owls, heron, dolphins and arctic foxes, although in fairness these animals are less likely to want access to your underwear or kids toys.

Clearing out my loft - bought 12 in wilco in Bournemouth town centre. There are loads there and never been out of stock. They are quite a soft plastic so not prone to cracking or breaking and the plastic is thick as well. They are a real bargain.
