Why buy ordinary batteries?

These Panasonic (previously Sanyo) Eneloops are pre-charged (ready to use out of the packet) - and pretty much unique in that they retain 70% charge for 5 years. Arguably the best rechargeables on the market.

Can also be charged up to 2100 times.

Multi-use batteries for digital cameras, MP3 players, remote controls, game consoles, toys, torches etc

High performance even down to -20C*, higher usable capacity than standard batteries (min 750mAh)

Factory tested to give up to 800 mAh capacity - Minimum 750mAh performance assured!

Pack of 8 here for £10.49 delivered:

Ordered.
My wife goes through loads and loads of batteries, so rechargeable ones should help and save a few quid.
God knows what she does with them all!

Just what i needed only problem is it won't let me pay ?

Not a deal, just regular price on 7dayshop. They have been on sale for same price for ages.

Yes and postage pointed out earlier

Be aware the CS is with these OS the same as gearbest. I ordered these they sent a very cheap head torch. when I complained they ask for photos after which they said o could send them back but they have no more stock. People should be aware that saving pennies with these shower may cost you pounds like me.

Puzzled by that - this eBay seller has 99.5% positive feedback. Hardly shocking, surely?

Yes. Provided you're just storing them, rather than using them.

I have these batteries and they are quite good, but won't keep charge for even a year if just stored.
Also 12 months is a max they keeps working in remotes I have put in.
Real difference is in power hungry devices; my photo camera does 2000 shots before need of recharge
Ans can be charged many times, not like other rechargeable batteries.

I have - 12556 positives puts it into perspective. So 0.0065 of customers left negative reviews. Pretty good for a volume seller on eBay. But we're not actually talking about eBay here - this isn't an eBay deal.

Good product. Use these in my Lenser torches.

Bought about 20 packs of 4 when they were reduced to only £2.16 per pack on Amazon 2 yrs ago.

I use this one, and it's excellent:

ebay.co.uk/itm…247

You'll find it well reviewed and widely available at varying prices, and under different names. £26.99 above. The important things are the ability to charge at a low rate (200 ma with this one at its lowest) and being able to charge individual cells.

The 7dayshop one I mentioned above is very similar, but cheaper. I prefer the Technoline, but I do know someone who has the 7dayshop version, and he's had no problems with it. Either would do the job.

I don't know the Xtar ones, but they do appear to cope with C and D cells from the description, and Li-ion too. They don't charge at quite such a low rate, but that may not matter. I'd be wanting to check out a few reviews first, though - and it is being sold on Amazon.

Being a vaper, I regularly read comparisons of chargers with graphs and stats (a bit **** if you ask me) to review various chargers. XTAR and Nitecore are very popular known brands and come up top. I have a Nitecore i4 (which is alright but a bit lacking on the display) and a XTAR VC2 Plus (2 bay portable that charges every battery you can imagine expect the old 9v square). I carry that with me in an overnight bag with an couple of 18650 batteries in it as it doubles as a USB power pack so I can top my phone up if necessary from the batteries in the bay as well as charge/swap the batteries for my vape. A friend bought the larger VC4 and having a play with it, I'm quite jealous. If I did't already have a 4 bay, I'd buy that one. Also they are USB powered so not limited to 240v supplies. Comes top of most reviews and the features speak for themselves. Fast Tech is a great site and takes 14 days on average to arrive. Free postage. Just consider it a present to your future self

That BC-700 looks really nice for just AAA and AA mind you. It also has that killer feature the VC4 has of giving you accurate mAh capacity of the batteries so you know when they destined for the bin and what batteries to pair. Whatever you pick, they are pretty top end

Edit: I've just noticed the BC-700 has a discharge option. If you are exclusively using AA and AAA's that is a fantastic feature to 'revive' batteries due to memory effect. That's pretty sweet combined with the capacity display.

You've tempted me into getting a VC4 - just for the C and D cell capability, which I need and can't find on any other decent chargers at a sensible price. Thanks for that.
