but due to some EU law aint all electrical products covered by a 2 year warranty

Yes but who wants to bother having to argue that with an internet company? I'd take the no-hassle JL one.

£318 at Dixons (but no 5 yr warranty)

£306 at Dell though, (plus 6% quidco..excl VAT)

if only this was 37" and 1080p

Good deal !

depends what you use. personally, I no longer use scart for anything. YOu may need scart for freeview or your sky box, but a dvd player etc should now be HDMI

i still have a vidio machine, dvd and sky all use scart

You could buy a scart block for a few quid which will allow you to input them all into your TV. You would want somewhere to hide it though as you dont want that hanging halfway down the wall. They look like this...

(however, I really would advise trying to pick up a DVD player than uses HDMI as the picture quality is much better - otherwise you are wasting your money on a decent TV.

I shopped around to buy a Samsung telly just afer Christmas. The guy in Curry's was saying the JL 5 year guarantee was no where near good as the one you pay for. I checked this out in several forums and there were a number a people not happy with the amount of cover with JL. They were charged for repairs which would have been covered by anther companies guarantee. I ended up buying from Richer Sounds in store and got a got deal (manange to get their 5 year guarentee thown in for free).
