You must of been unlucky, mines crashed 30-40 times into everything still going. Though I agree it may well break eventually. I love the little thing, great fun

Small tip: Use some wet and dry sandpaper on the cutting edge of the plastic rotor blades, smoothing down any blemishes and/or jagged bits. I noticed that it was the rotors that kept ripping up on these types of copters, mainly because of the rough edged rotor blades snagging on stuff.

Excellent little copter, especialy at that price!

Working for me, checked after you posted. Did this the other day.

Bought one. Have played with the larger 'original' and found it to be great fun. The only thing that lets these helicopters down is the battery but I guess it needs to be small and subsequently light or the little ******s wouldn't fly.

I said that to the other half, now I'm in the dog house and she wont believe I was talking about flying a helicopter for a day!

Use the right and left button thing on the pad until stable.

I ordered mine on the 29th Dec.
Just checked my account as the status shows as "STATUS Awaiting Stock: 02/01/2009"

The description says the copter can "hover", and that it has a fixed forward movement.
These two statements are not compatible.
Well, not without modifying the chopper between attempts anyway...

Same day mines dispatched.

I bought 2 of the MX1s for my boys for Xmas. They are very hard to control.

I was given a Xiang Yan chopper, looks cheaper but actually works much better than the Silverlit Mxs.

not sure how much these ones cost? $19.99 in this advert
