Looks like a decent bit of kit.
Well found - missed it last time - heat added
Great stuff, thanks Op. I missed out on this last week. Cheers.
I got one last week and it impressed the missus so much she went and bought another one.
Nice one, all ready for pick up Saturday.
its going to get steamy
Is this actually good - or are people just saying it is because it's cheap?
is this a mini hoover? looking for summat to clean the car with as kids tend to make it messy and I end up hoovering it with the main house hoover which is pain.

I got one last week. Never had a steamer before and have been somewhat underwhelmed by this product. It heats up quick, there are loads of attachments and it generates a lot of steam but doesn't seen to clean anything, just makes things hot and wet! Maybe that's just how steam cleaners are?
Thats been my experience with em
It should be exactly the same principle as trying to wash a dirty dish with cold water versus washing it with boiling water.

I have never used one, but surely just being hot means they clean a hard floor better then a mop?
As well as round the house, I'm thinking one of these would be great for cleaning my pedal bike?
thanks, ordered with delivery
is it comes with garment attachment?

Just reserved one, many thanks OP
Got one last week at that price, Really good piece of kit. One tip use the Floor Pad on the floor brush if your going to use it on wood, tiles etc. used it on tiles without and it cleaned really well but had to use a foam mop to take up the excess. Used the Pad on the rest of the tiles and it cleaned just as well and dried without the need to mop.
ordered thanks
been waiting for these to come down in price, thanks op just reserved one
Just reserved one thanks
Guys, do not buy this, I took it back after one day....the plastic utensils can not handle the heat being steamed through them. It's rubbish and will last no time at all.

that's funny are firm have 5 of these and had no problem with any of the accessories in the last 8 months and they get used 5 times a week . must of been a dodgy batch

I got that when trying to deliver to store, but it was fine if I paid for home delivery.

Mrs just bought one off bidtv for £45 and it wasn't a brand name like vax! Reserved last one in local store so guess bidtv one will be going back as soon as it arrives! Pity about the £7.99 postage I will lose though!
P.s thanks heat added

I heard the same from a lot of people. It just doesn't clean anything.

You can use warm or hot water with a mop as well, with the added benefit that the mop actually touches and cleans surfaces, and you usually put something in the water, like bleach to dissolve and disinfect.
Hmm dunno what to think now. =/

I got the same message in Cheltenham, said in stock, but to collect within 4 days
Do not waste your money and defiantly do not buy. Purchased one last week and had to take it back. The steam was just not hot enough to clean anything, I could comfortable put my hand against the steam. At one stage it was spurting out steam and water giving me a nice wet floor. No better than bleach and a hand towel to do the job.
I'm really confused now, this item's great but it's also not, the steam melts the plastic yet the steam doesn't get hot enough to make your hand feel uncomfortable?

There's not much to be confused about. If you are ignoring the multiple warnings from people already then you'll quickly find out yourself.

Bought one from the last post. It fizzed ou all the muck from nooks and corners in the shower. Was not so good on tiles. But I guess it's horses for courses. Don't expect this to do some magic.

I haven't been able to empty the water from the tank. Any clues? I called Vax support, they didn't have anything to add other than the procedure in the manual.
Idiots if you have it set up right and put your hand against the steam for more than 3 seconds then you will be in A&E with burns . Idiots learn to set up correctly .
