This controller is great but be prepared to have issues. I am on my third one as the left stick on two of them had a clicking issue when in certain parts of the turn circle. My current one also has it slightly but I just can’t be bothered sending it back and waiting 3 weeks for the replacement until it’s fully broken. I don’t know if Microsoft offer an extended warranty but I would definitely recommend it if they do. I got mine from very and paid £30ish for 2 or 3 year replacement warranty for peace of mind.
Can you buy accessories using Xbox live credit ?
As in can I buy £160 worth of gift cards from cdkeys and pay using them?

Is this the Series 2? My son had issues with Series 1. I bought from Amazon last month and paid £10 extra for a 3 yr warranty just in case!

Agreed. I added the Microsoft Complete for Xbox Elite Controller with Accidental Damage Coverage for £15.99 to be safe!

Yeah. I did the same as my wife gets a discount on vouchers with the NHS.

Not 100% SURE, but believe so..
I bought mine using partial credit purchased with saved Bing/MS rewards points, so xbox credit should work the same.

Might be worth double checking with their online chat?

Also, I've had zero complaints with my series 2. Seems really well made and you can really notice the difference.

Yeah I have the first edition. No end of issues. Between that and call of duty’s endless updates it’s a good way to get people to game less

Yes, series 1 I had issues with the bumpers mainly. The series 2 feels much nicer and the bumpers seem more robust. There’s lots of reports online about sticking face button but I haven’t really experienced that. Just the left stick issues really. It’s a great controller though, I have had scuf in the last and this feels so much higher quality. The extended warranty was a good move!

I had exactly the same issue with mine, but have had no problems with the replacement Microsoft sent to me.

Yeah you can, that's how I bought both my Series 1 and 2 direct from Microsoft.

Think I must have been unlucky. I’m hoping it was a teething problem that they’ll maybe fix in newer versions and when I come to get a replacement, I’ll get one with no issues
Currently on my third replacement. Wish I didn't bother buying the thing. That said when it works, it's amazing and feels so much better and could see an improvement for sure!! Hopefully gen 3 will be better when ever that may be!!!
My 1st one went back with in the 1st week of release due to right stick drift. 2nd one has been spot on. Not worth this money bit i traded my v1 in and payed £70
Have 2 of these and no issues and have 3 gen 1 also with no issues, must be lucky I guess- great controllers
Not really something post about when there's no deal to be had. Other online shops have the same thing and for the same cost.

At least the OP can be bothered to post what they believe is a deal
I've bought 2 had issues with the first one regarding the A button not registering which was bought around launch. Bought one recently roughly lot number 213 and have the same issue with the A button but is slightly better than the previous one. Not worth risking buying still in my opinion
Mine needs a replacement but I’m waiting the lockdown out.
Currently my pad turns itself off all time which is really annoying when your in the middle of an action sequence or online game and you end up getting killed.

Seems to be connected to how hard I press buttons, clicking the right thumb stick seems to be linked to it as well.

I had issues with my gen 1 but that was simply the rubber grips falling off after a considerable amount of use. This one is only 6 months old.
Can someone please point me in the direction to how you can pay with Xbox Live Credit? I only seem to have the option for Debit/Credit or PayPal. Cheers

You need to make sure the live credit is already on your account, you can’t pay with redeeming if you know what I mean. When I ordered this morning it showed the Microsoft/Xbox balance, then credit/debit/PayPal underneath. I was on my phone so it sure it that would make a difference.

Since when is RRP a deal?

No-one who wants an Elite 2 needs help finding somewhere to pay full price for it.

There's a reason this is 300° cold. I doubt I'm alone in this opinion.

Nhs discount where??
I used to be in the ‘this controller is way overpriced’ camp....until I tried one. Hands down the best controller I have ever used. Will never go back to a standard controller. Worth every penny if you play shooters. I play 4 hours of warzone most nights and have had the controller for 2 months, not a single issue yet.

I bought mine for circa £140 few months ago. No issues whatsoever. Even survived me raging through Sekiro without faults.

Got mine delivered today, feels great but one of the little paddle button clickers is not working. Tried calling Microsoft Store Support and have been cut off 3 times, terrible service! Anyone else had experience dealing with these clowns and had success?

Or maybe gaming is their thing and that’s what’s they want to spend money on. Like someone who likes/plays football and spend the same on a pair of boots... each to their own
