Shame about the negative reviews about that hole that is unfiltered in the plunger. What's your experience of that?

I'm still waiting for mine, will receive tomorrow and share my experience. Amazon reviews are good by far. Nearly 1800 reviews, 4.4 out of 5 stars.

Got mine a couple of days ago, no hole in the plunger. Maybe they've redesigned it? Amazon reviews are mysterious sometimes.
If you don't have prime you can get from Robert Dyas at the same price with free click and collect.

That's weird...
I got mine today and it does...
On the part you lift out, doesn't it have a little hole?
Just above the filter on the "arm" you pull it in and out with?
Mine has a hole, but it doesn't seem to cause any real problem. Sometimes there is a tiny bit of grounds in the bottom of the cup, but I just don't drink that last sip, so it's not a problem. I don't understand what people are doing to get large amounts of grounds in their cups, it's a bit odd.
Available on eBay £1 more but free p&p

Yup, mine had a hole in it. Bit of sanitary silicone to plug it, job done. Well worth the money. 😋
I had one of these a few years back. Excellent to take to work for some fresh coffee.
some of them leak into the inside of the cup. I have few from different sources and some leak inside some don't. still a great product, ta all!#

Received mine today and made my first cup. Yes, there is a hole in it and only very tiny amount of grounds was managed to come out. Doesn't seem to be a very big problem. Hope this helps.
I got mine too yesterday just reading the instruction Re:care it says "Dish washer safe Top Rack only" does that mean the lid only? Also I'm searching for a nice quality coffee if you have any recommendation please let me know. I've never had coffee with cafetière before.
