"Gear the kid's up for the new school term with this fabulous free gift pack for every reader worth over £30.00"

You can claim a hi-speed USB Memory Stick with a whopping 1GB of re-usable memory - enough room for all their homework files, pictures, videos, music and more.
Your gift pack also includes a handheld 8-digit electronic calculator for those tricky sums and a playground friendly silicone digital watch to ensure you are always on time.

Last but not least we have a free copy of the best selling 'Know It all' interactive trivia quiz DVD. Packed with hundreds of National Curriculum questions on Maths, English and Science, this DVD makes learning fun and brings the classroom to your TV.

You can claim your gift pack by sending a self-addressed, padded A5 envelope stamped to the value of £3.85 and a note of your name and address. The padded A5 envelope is necessary because the gift items are fragile and could be damaged if standard size envelopes are supplied.

My first USB memory stick was 32MB!

Its £6.99 to get the lot

Alternatively, you can send a cheque for £3.99 (the USB); £1.49 (the silicone watch); £1.49 (the calculator); £1.05 (the dvd); or £6.99 (for the complete pack), make your cheque payable to the Daily Mail, and send to the following address:

Except no kid would wear that watch, the calculator looks impractical and most schools host their pupils' files so they probably wouldn't need/be allowed to use a usb drive. Oh, and of course the Mail is the opposite of learning

The watch looks like the Breo Roam watches sold on Play.com for £9.99

Is it me, or could you get all these items from a local pound shop?:?
I got a log cabin delivered from Argos, last year, that came on the back of a flat bed lorry and needed a crane to lift it off at a cost of just over a fiver. So I think that £6.99 for a few grams of tatt is a bit out of order.
Seems a bit like some Ebay sellers that charge a pittance for the item and a Kings ransome for delivery.
Sorry voted cold.

Let me get this right; you are comparing a "Back to school gift pack" with a "Log cabin". If I thought you were joking I'd be having a wee chuckle, but you are actually serious aren't you?

It does indeed; but I bet it doesn't need a crane to have it lifted into your house

How do you manage to humour them Andy?

Does the 'know it all' quiz manage to integrate asylum seekers and house prices into the national curriculum??

Just thought I'd mention that this is provided by Expansive Media who are notorious for spamming the purchaser for an age, even after requests to be removed from the mailing list.
They are the same company who provide the free film tie-in USB sticks from 32mb upwards....
The postage for those sticks is where they make their money and when they do (eventually) send the film tie-in sticks, it will probably arrive rattling around in a 2nd class envelope and nothing else.
I can't vouch for this particular offer from andywedge but I wouldn't deal with this company.
On their emails, they even credit themselves with MSE (as featured on...) though some people on MSE haven't been impressed either.
Sorry andywedge, cold from me, but your other deals are usually excellent.:)

Hot Deal

its all tat

classic

£3.85 in postage for the SAE PLUS the cost of the padded envelope, PLUS the envelope to send the SAE to the offer address PLUS the postage to send the SAE to the offer address.

So the best part of £5 for some complete and utter rubbish - how is this hot?! Plus there is no comeback if it gets lost or damaged in the post!
