Have you not got the current blu-ray? It looks stunning compared to DVD.
I gave the VHS and DVD of this away when I upgraded to blu-ray
Nah vcd is the best!

It is a lot better than the dvd but the blu ray generally gets bad reviews due to poor transfer, being a Sunderland fan i know lots about poor transfers

Really? I thought the transfers for all 3 are pretty well done. Wouldn't mind a new 4K transfer though

Found the second and third films pretty good 1080p transfers but the first film wasn't great, far too much enhancements going on that messed the picture up, colours are wrong and it has far too much grain compared to the other two.

Can't really complain about the grain since that's how it was shot. No need to DNR if out either like the infamous Predator release.
They are also two for £15

Thanks @movienerd2019 we have added this to the Highlights page
darn shame the back to the future and airplane boxes are just 1 movie, would be all over this if it imncluded the sequels (less so jaws and blues brothers)
Should probably just have posted 2 for 15 deal
I bought them all when they were hmv exclusives at 2 for 25. Although it does mean I have a full set, I know some are rare especially the Scarface which got pulled and rereleased due to a typo!
Nice find! These look great. If they released more classic 80s nostalgia in this format like Terminator, Aliens, Robocop, The Fly, Predator, Die Hard, No Way Out, Angel Heart, Fatal Attraction, Repo Man, Bladerunner, Escape From New York, Neverending Story, I'd buy a lot more. I much prefer the original artworks and 80s feel, the normal Beverly Hills Cop bluray for example is hideous compared to the iconic 80s cover. Modern boxes always seem to have these horrible photoshoppy dull artworks that lose the atmosphere of the film.
Two VHS classics for £15 too
Cold no betamax edition
What the hell is a VHS??? (sarcasm)
Cartoonhead06/07/2019 12:56

Cold no betamax edition

I think Betamax had died by the time this came out
