Same price at Tesco.

tescoentertainment.com/sto…09/

However you can use the FTSL15-1 discount code to get another 15% off to bring the price down to a rather nice £23.77

Then you also have your clubcard points and possibility of Topcashback/Quidco to bring it down even further.

Nice shout. I already used the code ages ago though, and would much rather order from Amazon anyway

Just sign up with a new email address and use the code again, that's what most people tend to do, its worth it for the extra saving

A lot of people despite being on the lookout for a bargain have better things to do with their time than creating new emails and registrations every five minutes.

If you own you're own domain it takes only seconds to create a new email, not really that much trouble if you ask me, its just down to how much money you would like to save at the end of the day, each to their own etc.

Holding out for a dip in price for the tin. Loving that Tesco deal crazyhorse mentioned though.

Thank you! My thought exactly. But crazyhorse's post will still no doubt be very useful for those who do have the time/can be bothered, so kudos to him. That said, I'm still sticking with Amazon, as Tesco somehow seemed to manage to screw up all three of my past orders from them.

Cheers used that code to get the collectors tin and saved nearly £7 on my previous pre-order

Great Scott!

Actually I don't know anyone who shares that view, it's common practice to sign up for an email address to get a 1 use code multiple times. Takes 2 mins...mail.com is a good one for signing up fast.

Strange how "digipak" packaging is seen as a premium thing...I remember the days when those sorts of cases were used to sell budget range PC games, Duke Nukem\Terminal Velicity\Under a Killing Moon\Hexen all used them with a magnet under some weird label...

Thought the idea of this website was to SAVE money! Someone comes up with how to save more money and all people do is moan! I don't get it

Nearly right:
Save Money - MoneySavingExpert
Spend Less Money - HotUKDeals

The difference is subtle

Does anybody know what the Blue Ray conversion is like on the films? As i know some are not worth the effort.

I picked this up for £9.99 before, can blu ray be that good to justify £20 extra??

give about a month after release and it'll be selling for less than 15. Be the same for the Alien Quadrilogy. The dvd's have sold extremely cheaply for the box sets and I can't imagine everyone double dipping. The price will plummet

I'd want this to be a tenner before upgrading from my DVD Trilogy. A decent enough deal if you don't own the movies already.

Good price if you absolutely have to be first in the queue for the new release but if you really want to save money then wait a while and the price will drop once the publishers have relieved the early adopters of their cash. Then when they find that nobody is left willing to spend nearly £30 the price will drop quickly. After all it is quite a limited market consisting largely of people who were kids in the 80's.

Thanks so much for the Tesco code, great price and ordered!

The tesco deal deserve a thread of its own so didnt vote either way but ordered from tesco for £23.77... this is a must have imo
