Great deal thanks - much better than the Lidl £1 a bottle offering! Any idea when the offer ends?

Their website says the offer ends on October 13th. I messed up the original expiry date, but have fixed it now.

my thoughts exactly

Heat + Rep!

Badger beers are great :w00t:, Sainsbury's has a nice selection of beers and real ales. Anyone tried Innis & Gunn oak aged beer? Occasionally on offer as is Leffe Brun both lovely.

badgers beers are lovely and they have a competition entry collar at the moment in my local co op!

I love ale

Tanglefoot great in the summer.

If you enjoy Horse racing and you fancy a good day out.

There is a Badger Ales Chase Day sponsored by Badger Ales at Wicanton in November.

Paul Nicholls is the trainer to follow, especially in the Badger Ales Chase!

Just been into my local and these are still over £6 :x

Good beers on draught but these aren't bottle conditioned so too fizzy for my tastes, I'm afraid.

A Roasting Hop deal! Thanks

Poacher's is a great ale and usually around £1.80 a bottle - superb deal!

innis and gunn is an aquired taste. i don't like it much. my g/f's brother loves the stuff. very oakey. try it i say.

cheers OP. firsty rules and i havent tried the others, will buy some asap.

Just got back from a 16 mile round trip to my 'local' Sainsburys where this multipack is selling at £6.39, the sales asssistant double checked for me and they know of no offer so this must be an online offer only

Still over £6 at my local store, must be online only.

Think this isn't even an online deal. Comes up at £6.39 online (once you add to basket).

This may have to be expired.

Yes, it was showing at £6.39 in Exeter Pinhoe today, so it must be online only. I got a customer services person to check the price for me and she confirmed it scanned at £6.39. I pointed out that it was £3.33 online and she did a call for a person from wines and spirits to look into it.

ClashInDevon

The item is still reverting to full price when you add it to your basket. I have emailed Sainsbury's for clarification.

Disappointed to hear that the offer (if indeed it is verified!) may be online only - I'd have to start rooting for other items to bump up the order. Or I could just buy 13+ packs to get my order over £40 for reduced postage... :w00t:

Great find, will be nipping off to the local Sainsburys.

erm....you may want to read the rest of the thread:thumbsup:

I have received a reply - they say you have to book a delivery slot first then the offer price will show in your basket:

Dear Richard

Thank you for your email about our special offer on the Badger ale. I’m sorry that you didn’t get the offer price you were expecting.

It looks like you must have added items to your order before booking your delivery slot. We’ve got a great range of special offers but these can change from week to week. If you start shopping before booking your slot, you’ll see the special offers available on that day only.

For your future orders I’d advise you to book your delivery slot before you start shopping. Once you’ve reserved your slot, you’ll be able to take advantage of the offers available on the day of your delivery.

I would reply pointing out that the offer is still showing. I think this is just a standard fob off reply. It's clear that your problem is nothing to with the delivery slot.

At least you got a reply ! Im still waiting

Boo Hiss Sainsbury's.

This deal would be scorching if it was real and available.

Has anyone actually found these at this price?

Freezin. Not a real deal, rubbish

Be warned - Sainsburys have taken this off the website and are charging everybody £6.39 - I am currently on the phone to them complaining !!!!!!

This should be expired. I asked about it in my local store and they looked at me like I had 2 heads and refused to honour the 'deal'.

Amazing how a deal can become so hot when not a single person has managed to actually get it at the HOT price

Costco are doing a 16 pack of Badger beers for £15-99.

4 x bottles of Tanglefoot
4 x bottles of First Gold
4 x bottles of Long Days (seasonal ale brewed with raspberry leaves....delicious!)
4 x bottles of Champion

A good set of ales, plus 12 of the bottles have 50p off coupons and the chance to win a Land Rover.

What's the situation with Costco jd - their website claims that cards are for those in the trade only but in reality are they far more relaxed about who can shop there?
