Is this deal aimed at takeaway businesses ? Seems rather a lot for the average household.

Tried this brand,would recommend.

only gripe about getting rice delivered is that its bound to get broken in transit

what do u mean?

Used to throw rice at weddings instead of confetti as rice rots down and confetti dont

Is this still allowed at weddings? Only if you boil it first. lol

I thought it was bad for the birds. They eat it and then when they drink water the rice expands and they explode (probably don't explode but I think it does them harm).

I subscribed last month to be delivered every 6 months. Convenient to have it delivered at your door free. Great tasting rice at a great price.
Heat added.

Thats why you boil it first.

any good in the rice machine? we tried tesco`s(crap), morrisons(good), asda(crap), all need cleaning in water to get the crap off amazed at how rice can be so tainted.

I did that at a Chinese restaurant once, ate a load of rice then went to the pub and had a pint of Strongbow! I think I was only moments away from exploding the pain I was in! All I remember was rolling around on my bed, clutching my gut and Loose Woman was on the TV AT About 1am in the morning but I was in to much pain to find the remote!

I thought I had learnt a lesson there until the Greek bread incident a few weeks later!

same price in asda ... online as well

great and convenient deal :))

Good quality aged Basmati rice and good price too. I bought 5 KG for £5.99 two weeks back from Asian grocery shop.

better buy was 5kgx2 kohinoor basmati for tenner in tesco..(atleast 2 weeks back)

this rice is nice, not as good as kohinoor but still very good and i would buy again.
5 kg is ideal for a family of 4, we eat lots of rice
