is this rice any good? seems pretty cheap

@muffin247 Ive had this before, was good!

Haven't tried this myself but heard poor feedback from people who have

Good but not quite good enough. Can get it for £1 per kg in my local Asian supermarket.

Don't be fooled when they say 'Aged' they probably mean its been knocking around in some old smelly warehouse and is past its Sell by date.

If you really know about rice, then it really has no sell by date as the older the rice the better as long is stored correctly. It is something like whisky.

I doubt you will get it for £1 per kg as rice prices have gone considerably in the last 1 year.

It is not as good as Kohinoor but much better than Salaam Basmati rice on offer at Morrisons.

I will be thinking twice to buy basmati rice from Asian shop if it is unpackaged and unbranded.
They may mix it with 49% long grain rice and still call it basmati ...
