These are one of the best manufacturers of tools around (queue jokes about tools.....)! Good find

Brilliant bit of kit. Good find.
Great spot OP
Great brand and price. 1/4" drive limits it to light duty work, but this set should last a lifetime.
Bahco, owned by Snap On IIRC.. good tools.

Fantastic quality & over half the price of other retailers - can't go wrong!

Got this set, excellent quality. Think I paid about £30 ish for it from Amazon.
Excellent product with great price. Can't go wrong. Deserve more heat. Thanks for posting.
I already have the 25 piece mini kit (amazon.co.uk/Bah…_29?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1443204482&sr=1-29&keywords=bahco+socket+set), but still tempted with this!
Snap on for show bahco for pro... As they say
Great tools at great prices
Thanks OP, great spot
The Bahco tools that I have (doesn't include this set) are superb. Good quality tools get handed on to future generations - poor quality ones can remove that possibility..
Are these genuine good quality tools made in Europe or a rebrand of taiwanese/chinese tools?

Did a bit of research on good quality, good value tools a while back and Bahco came out well. Reserved. Thanks OP (and Homebase e-mail!). Have some heat.
1/4".... not much use really.... the same goes for them screwdriver bits, that's why the 3/8ths set is 54 quid...

Bahco are good, what you're thinking of is 'Stanley' LOL

Horses for courses...these are perfect for smaller nuts and bolts, and the bits are so much easier than Allan keys
Yup, another shout for Bahco from a field engineer who uses their socket sets regularly. Top quality, even the case is quality.
Yeah, for those who always ask what tools are good, it's these, it is a small 1/4" drive though, so no big heavy jobs with rusted nuts.
I'd like to justify this set for myself, but my larger Bahco set has most of this in it.
As someone says on that UK storage show, 'I'll 'ave some of that!'

Yep, not metal, which is a shame, but they have metal rods in hinges and heavy ABS plastic cases, great tolerances as well.

"BOOM!!!"

Just used the smaller set to put together a shops fittings, only anchor blocks into stonework but still did it a treat. These are in my essentials bag, which does for most jobs, I do want a larger set for my big kit though.
This Stanley tool box seems a bargain as well tool fans. If you can pick it up, or get free delivery with the socket set.

I always thought mine were plastic just checked and yes, brushed metal, I've never even noticed!
Suck on that Halfords socket set whose plastic clips broke on my set after 20 years.
Amazing price and amazing tools, I've got a similar bahco 1/4" kit and I love it to bits....

Might get another at this price!

I may be thinking of mannesman who do some poor tools nowadays. Does anyone know where they are made?

Shares a lot of mannerisms with someone I work with, it's quite spooky watching him.
Nice set , don't need it but couldn't resist it , Dan you hukd
Dont forget theres 2.7% Topcashback too
Cheaper than the Halford equivalent (which is also good)
halfords.com/wor…1-4
I have the Halfords set, but would have purchased this if I didn't have it. Heat
Good price but I already have two 1/4 inch sets. A Wera on the garage and teng for the car so can't really justify another.
For the price it is worth it, for quality they are not the best. If price is not an issue you are better off with a Hazet set, the best one the produce for value is amazon.co.uk/dp/…5CW

Gedore are another good make but again more expensive than this.

I got the mini kit when on offer and a great solid kit and would recommend.
Cold. I've had similar in poundland.

Waste of time. Reserved at Stockport. OGit there and out of stock as usual for Homebase. Their stock system is never right. Two other people will also be disappointed.

You could buy 20 sets in Poundland
