Just stick with Ballykiss or whatever the Aldi version is called. Yes it’s 12% vs 17% tastes roughly the same.

I find it funny that on Amazon it's the same price but currently -51 on HUKD and currently 51 when doing this. Very fickle site. Once negative generally will stay there. (edited)

    Possible causes of price increase....

Increased cost of production, due to energy or staff.
Increased import or shipping costs, due to oil or tranport.
Increased costs due to double digit inflation.

No real increase in any costs, but we thought we'd put the price up now. As we generally sell less after Christmas and during the year. It's nothing more than profiteering and corporate greed.

Is it me or does Baileys taste completely different than it did in the 90s? It taste alot stronger now oddly.

Not sure when it happened, but they changed the base from whiskey to "whiskey and spirits", so probably some cheap grain alcohol. It definitely tastes a lot harsher to me now as well.

Switched back to the Lidl knock-off after my £10 Baileys ran out, bit harsher taste in direct comparison, but don't notice it after a few days - Lidl have just put the price up from £4.49 to £4.89 for 0.7 litre so may give my liver a rest. All the supermarkets are whacking up prices on many things, the govn needs to hammer them with increased taxes to teach them a lesson.
