For me the more expensive Branston beans simply don't taste as good as these.
Even if these were a little bit dearer than the smaller Branston ones I'd much rather have these.
As good as Heinz in my opinion
Family love them too (and we know how picky kids can be!).

In blind taste tests, Heinz comes low down as the beans are overcooked and too soft and Heinz beans have too much sugar in them. England football team had Heinz beans taken off their menu as they are too high in sugar.

Branston is just a brand. They are not made by them unlike Heinz.
Morrisons scored 8/10 for their 32p a tin baked beans. The highest score beating Waitrose too!

See below
good find op, heat added
I've been buying for the past year at this price. Haven't been in lidl and them not be 4 for £1. Always have this deal.

Really???????

Really???????

From the Branston site
"Named after the small village near Burton, Staffs, Crosse & Blackwell first produced Branston pickle in 1922. This classic British product is still made using the same secret recipe and traditional methods today – blended to perfection for that essential Branston ‘tang’.

The UK’s best-loved sweet pickle is a firm family favourite – more than 17 million jars of pickle are sold every year with over one in three UK households buying it!

Branston has now become known for more than just pickle, and its portfolio also includes relishes and table sauces. In February 2013 Mizkan Europe acquired Branston from Premier Foods. Its products are still manufactured at the Bury St Edmunds site that it moved to in 2004, and the slogan “Bring out the Branston” remains synonymous with the brand."

But it doesn't really matter whether it's made by Branston, or in an old shed by a man with a wart on his nose. As long as it follows the recipe. After all, Cadbury isn't Cadbury, yet many people still buy "Cadbury" chocolate. (For the record, I don't, but then Mondelez haven't stuck to the recipe)
Not really a deal,as stated before, they are always this price. I buy them all the time.

Yes Crosse and Blackwell are in Suffolk. Branson pickle has far too much salt in it like Heinz ketchup does.

how cab you rate beans......surely the taste preference is down to the individual.

I personally do t care too much I'll just pick them up from where ever I happen to be when I need them, be it lidl, also, track, branston. they all taste similar
Beans are just beans buy the cheapest your not going to get any taste anyway your always having it with bread or egg so it doesn't matter buy the cheapest

Not to start an argument about beans but personally I don't like Heinz beans - they're too watery for me. Branston have just the right thickness of sauce, as well as a slightly richer undertone. I appreciate that Heinz have quite a following and lots of people probably grew up with them - my friend won't eat anything but Heinz beans and Heinz ketchup - but personally I've always preferred Branston and will always pick them over anything else. I've had these beans though and they're actually very decent.

Ok cadburys ain't cadburys any more but then most companies making chocolate don't use much coco anymore so really it ain't choc! As for Branston beans Secret recipe so it's Branstons beans in my opinion wherever it's made, anyways thanx for reply still think Branstons are nice's beans out there at the min & good luck to them, as for ketchup would pay triple for Heinz any day
I always add a few dashes of Worcester Sauce and Black Pepper to any beans, makes any bean taste even better. Just a dash mind.

No way, tried so many different beans, they taste so much different, no matter what you eating them with!
tbh, Morrisons scores highly on beans, chips and ketchup. I prefer Morrisons own brand than Tesco, Sainsbury's and asda
