Looks like a clone of a Peter Storm coat I've got, and as someone else suggested in an earlier comment, the material soaks up the water and you end up getting wet, and then the coat takes literal days to dry if you don't stick it on a radiator or use a dehumidifier to accelerate the process.
Buy some Nikwax spray DWR coating, that's the only difference stopping it from absorbing water

BALEAF?! The irony is that it looks like something worn by somebody working in legal recoveries

    BALEAF? What's that all about

Good value if you compare it with the 10000mm Mac in a Sac. But don't expect to wear it all day on the hills - it's really only useful in showers, but will be pretty good at that.

It's ok but these cheap coats absorb some water and get wet, but don't allow it through
Many make you wet inside from the sweat/humidity

So, can anyone recommend one that lets water totally run off and is very breathable?
No such thing but best I've had is inov8 stormshell or any Omm. Stormshell isn't the lightest out there but fine if you're not seriously racing in it.

I use their cycling shorts. They are fantastic quality for money. Clears beats expensive brands. Order blue to try, if too thin will return,

I'm skeptical about this and not voting either way. I had a Berghaus jacket for about 10 years which got some heavy use. Cost me about £80 back in 2008 so perhaps £120 equivalent now. It was fantastic. Since then I've had 3 cheap coats like this, all not as comfortable and end up leaking after 12-18 months.

This might work for someone looking to leave in your boot just in case. I'm going to buy something from a reputable brand. You also get a pretty decent guarantees too. Can't imagine this manufacturer will even be about in a months time, let alone a year!
