First of all I want to say that I don't want to put you off of visiting Bulgaria. it's a beautiful country with many big and small towns where you can go on a beach holiday. They all offer a mix of experiences. What I am saying is that in my personal opnion of a 25 year old person, Sunny Beach offers great bars and clubs(I have spent 4 summers in Sunny Beach), but when I have kids I will prefer to go somewhere else. 1) Sunny Beach is advertised as a place where you go to get drunk with cheap alcohol. Therefore more than half of the tourists who visit it are young people who do just that. All day and night you can see people who are drunk or have a hangover. 2) It's very noisy, so if you want a quiet evening you can only find it in your hotel. 3) On the plus side it has a water park, a small adventure park and nice beaches. If you have kids, I would recomment staying in Nessebar which is 15 mins away of Sunny Beach by bus(a ticket costs about 50p to a £1). It's quieter and there is an old part of the town which is very beutiful for a walk. In this case you can still go and have fun in Sunny Beach whenever you want. P.S. if you want to see what I mean, search for Sunny Beach on youtube. You might come accros a show by an english TV(might be the BBC) about Sunny beach.
I was thinking about Bulgaria for next year. Why is Suuny Beach not good for children
Great deal thank you
Yes everywhere reduces their prices in September... When the schools go back :/
I am sorry but I had to vote cold. I know that compared to the prices here in the UK, £110 per night is a good deal, but compared to Bulgarian prices, this is extortion. I am from Bulgaria and my parent own a flat in Nessebar which is very close to Sunny Beach and we rent it out for about £20-£25(1 min away from the beach) a night and all hotels around us have rooms for about £20 per person per night. P.S. Hotels tend to reduce their prices for stays in September while the temperatureas are still above 20 degrees. P.S.S. Sunny Beach is not suitable for children...
