First of all I want to say that I don't want to put you off of visiting Bulgaria. it's a beautiful country with many big and small towns where you can go on a beach holiday. They all offer a mix of experiences. What I am saying is that in my personal opnion of a 25 year old person, Sunny Beach offers great bars and clubs(I have spent 4 summers in Sunny Beach), but when I have kids I will prefer to go somewhere else. 1) Sunny Beach is advertised as a place where you go to get drunk with cheap alcohol. Therefore more than half of the tourists who visit it are young people who do just that. All day and night you can see people who are drunk or have a hangover. 2) It's very noisy, so if you want a quiet evening you can only find it in your hotel. 3) On the plus side it has a water park, a small adventure park and nice beaches. If you have kids, I would recomment staying in Nessebar which is 15 mins away of Sunny Beach by bus(a ticket costs about 50p to a £1). It's quieter and there is an old part of the town which is very beutiful for a walk. In this case you can still go and have fun in Sunny Beach whenever you want. P.S. if you want to see what I mean, search for Sunny Beach on youtube. You might come accros a show by an english TV(might be the BBC) about Sunny beach.

I was thinking about Bulgaria for next year. Why is Suuny Beach not good for children

Great deal thank you

Yes everywhere reduces their prices in September... When the schools go back :/

I am sorry but I had to vote cold. I know that compared to the prices here in the UK, £110 per night is a good deal, but compared to Bulgarian prices, this is extortion. I am from Bulgaria and my parent own a flat in Nessebar which is very close to Sunny Beach and we rent it out for about £20-£25(1 min away from the beach) a night and all hotels around us have rooms for about £20 per person per night. P.S. Hotels tend to reduce their prices for stays in September while the temperatureas are still above 20 degrees. P.S.S. Sunny Beach is not suitable for children...

what are you saying about our great nation of people then? Your not speaking for your self are you? lol

Why go all inclusive if the food is average? A holiday should be a good experience eating tasty local food.

Been to Bulgaria over 30 times, and never got "rob" (whoever he is), but if you're the typical boozed-up Brit abroad, acting like an idiot you deserve all you get, in ANY country...

check thompson too for some cheap deals to Bulgaria :) xx

Bulgaria I'm not sure abt it even hlf of that price !!

Correct 3star can be crap, stayed in one in Sofia, found out it was previously a Novatel, but they got rid of it because it was worn out and needed a refit, so they sold it. Then supposed to be 4 star under a new name, the first room was broken airconditioning. The second room, water was dripping badly from the bathroom ceiling, TV broken. 3rd Room was barely OK, carpets worn, badly needed decorating, bathroom needed Mr Muscle to give it go over. The dinner at night was self service in warmers, at the end of the evening I saw them unplug the containers and put them under the tables, complete with contents. I made sure the next night I was not down for dinner early ;-)

I wouldn't even contemplate a 3 star in a 1 star here

Is it just me or do you want to suddenly play giant connect 4 at that hotel.?.
