Banana pi kit.

Alterative to raspberry pi but better!

Main benefits over the raspberry pi are
1gb network Lan
1ghz processor
Dual core processor
Sata port to connect hard drive
1gb ram

Really good for setting up an ultra low powered NAS for home or small business.

Runs xbmc too but read reports its video graphics is just under the Raspberry Pi. Videos still play at min 720 HD and menus are more smoother and quicker.

The updated Banana Pi Pro can also be purchased for around £44 but without all the accessories:

As a media player the Raspberry Pi is probably a better option, for everything else the Banana Pi/Pro has 1GB RAM, ARM v7 dual core chip (several times faster), far higher disk/network throughput via SATA II & 1000mb ethernet port.

Doesn't look slow or jittery to me.

Shame the ethernet is only an 'out' port...

No. Quite late on in development stages a thick liquid came out of the port.

Faster cpu, slower gpu so good for some applications. Xbmc better on rpi at the moment.
That spec table has errors, wouldn't base decision on that.
