Thank god it's them is missing from this version.

I always though this line highly disturbing so thank god for that

Why? to the two comments above.

Well why would you thank god somebody else is suffering other than you, totally selfish way of putting things.

I can't see who is winning by Asda reducing the price of a charity single.

I would assume the charity wins as they get a fixed price per sale? If Asda drops the price hopefully they sell more and the charity gets more money. I can't believe Asda are trying to eat into the donations - the negative PR would be horrendous!

I assume the cold votes may be people misunderstanding that this probably helps the charity?

Thx OP for posting. Gets some heat from me.

More like people despise everything band aid represents when people like bob geldof could probably fund the finding of a cure for ebola singlehandedly. That followd by his interview on sky news (?) showing just how ignorant, arrogant and rude he is.

All the so called celebrities on the single could afford to give far more than us hard pressed folk

I think you're missing the point.

I remember hearing that Bob Geldof (who wrote and coordinated all of this, right?) fought with everyone involved to keep that line in there. Apparently he felt it was crucial to drive home the guilt and remind everyone of the contrast between American and African experiences.

Oh I know that, was just answering why it would be removed.
