Band of Brothers on Blu-ray for £14.99

Not the cheapest it has ever been but the cheapest I could find at the moment!

One of the most extraordinary TV miniseries ever made, with a cast so good and prophetic it will probably never be surpassed, Band of Brothers starring Micheal Fassbender (Hunger, Shame), Tom Hardy (Inception, Dark Knight Rises), James McAvoy (Atonement, Last King of Scotland), Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Star Trek), David Schwimmer (Friends), Damian Lewis (Homeland) and produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The 10-part series follows a company of American soldiers in WWII, from boot camp to the end of the war.

Exclusive Blu-ray dynamic optional picture-in-picture commentary by the Easy Company veterans titled The Words of Easy Company, an interactive field guide featuring timelines, maps soldier profiles and much more titled In the Field With the Men of Easy Company.

I'm watching the series now and it's brilliant, up to episode 4 and it's such a well made series

One of the best.

the pacific is from the same studio but not as well received. I've not seen it though so can't say.

Pacific wasn't even the same league as band of brothers but still with watching.

Awesome boxset to own. If you have a 5.1 surround your in for a treat

Thanks, loved this series and got it for £12.70 with Discount code and points

Good price and excellent series. I have the Pacific as well. The picture is better as its newer. Different kind of series, don't expect more of the same, excellent in its own right.

Band of Brother utterly brilliant - An Epic piece of story-telling and cinematography. The Pacific was so, so disappointing - probably because BoB set the bar so high.

Watch it, then watch it again with the veteran's commentary - moving stuff.

excellent show, watch it once a year

In the middle of rewatching them for the anniversary of WW2, best overall series ever imo.

Great price for one of the best TV series ever - if not the best.

Any idea if there is a difference between the 2008 and the 2010 version?
