Currently not in stock but it says due in on November 6th.
No idea of the quality of this cable but other sellers have it for £119.
Might be worth a punt for someone and seems a good deal for 200m of speaker cable.

You talking about my post, or the fact someone is advertising bell wire as "speaker cable"??

Can anyone comment on the quality?

It’s been as low as £20.06 according to CCC.

Depends what you use it for. For wiring up a cheap micro or all-in-one surround system it's probably on par with what was originally used. I wouldn't use it for hifi although I guess having so much of it, you could bi-wire to effectively double up to 1.5mm.

My choice would probably be Van Damme 2.5mm unless it's a very long run, in which case go to 4mm.

As stated before this is not suitable for HiFi as the cable thickness is too small. It's a little thicker than bell wire but with a maximum 6A rating it's not enough save for low powered installations.

This stuff at £1.20 per Metre including P&P (and it's very heavy) is ideal for most applications if you don't want to break the bank.

Well with metal clothes hangers becoming few and far between I suppose I may stretch to this, not sure what I'm going to do with the other 170m though?

Waiting for the 'digital or analogue' questions!

That's copper clad. You're FAR better going OFC (Oxegen Free Copper).

The cable in this deal is OFC but isn't thick enough. For the vast majority of home installations, 2.5mm is plenty.

The Van Damme Blue 2.5mm cable referred to earlier is very good and can be got for about £2.50 per meter. It's good for home audio systems costing thousands of pounds.

For a very cheap, but high quality option, have a look at the following for less than £1.20 per meter:

ALL copper cable is 99.9% oxygen free, the label is just another bogus selling point to brag about.

A bit like those 1960's "4 transistor" radios, yeah they had 4, but only one worked, the other 3 were duds soldered onto a spare bit of the board.

But CCA cable is not copper - it's Copper Clad Aluminium.

Sorry, I missed that, far too excited that my MRI appointment came through in only 4 weeks, not the 6 to 8 predicted; at this rate I might get my brain surgery before next summer!!
