The key phrase is 'up to 240 watt'. Also it is possible via the mains supply rather than battery.

My Makita radio will last for pretty much 24 hours on a 2Ah battery as long as you don't rinse out the volume, so I would say this is fairly accurate

Bought this on an Amazon lightning deal a while back, really good speaker, fills the room and sounds more like a hifi!
