They’re solid headphones, and very much so at this price. Sound is great, as is comfort - the pads are comfortably soft. The battery life is pretty decent too. They don’t fold, though the earpads do twist to make them flat.
This is mk1, and they have however been updated this year to version with usb c, voice assistance, and slightly tweaked design. They are generally well reviewed by critics (check out CNET/ The Verge etc.).

Where from if you don't mind me asking?
The versions 1's now have Google assistant via update. Very comfortable and fantastic sound. I paid £90 for new ones albeit on ebay. Over ear too so not having noise canceling isnt so much of an issue, if at all.

Surprisingly, no support for audiophile BT codecs...but AAC so if you have an iPhone it will sound better than on Android.

They must have added more support for hd audio on 2nd gen

Want some Bang & Olufsen noise cancelling headphones for the plane.

Anyone seen any deals?

I’ve had Bose, Sony and Beats headphones and B&O kick the ass off all of them - it’s not even close - the sound quality is in another league.
These or sony xb900n's?
Have a pair of these, good sound quality, battery life is extremely good. Do feel a bit dated now though, they don't get hugely loud, and only support SBC codec and micro usb. I paid £135 a couple years ago and I'm happy. but i'd be tempted to consider options from newer brands like Taotronics for better value.

What audiophile BT codecs? aptx is no better than SBC (at times worse), and aptx HD only a very minor improvement. LDAC is only better than SBC at 990kbps and almost every phone will only give you 330kbps (worse than SBC) or 660kbps (arguably worse than SBC) unless you go into the developer options.

Check e.g. soundguys.com/the…14/ or soundguys.com/lda…26/

SBC is just fine on my H9is, although connecting them up with a 3.5mm cable to my LG V30 improves the volume noticeably and makes a very slight difference to quality.

Only ldac & hdac are certified hi-res audio

I suspect that B&O, just like AKG, use a lot of proprietary tech on top of SBC, otherwise quality sound impossible to achieve

Hey guys, looking for the fella's Christmas present.. Would you say these or the AKG N60NC? The reviews seem pretty similar.

These are more like AKG 845bt imo, no NC and over ears
