    Not sure on the rope..like when your holding that that speaker is going to easily swing about. Doesn't look appealing

    Dunno about the Sonos but everything I've read on this speaker says that the sound quality is exceptional for it's position in the market. If that's something which is important to you then it's worth the extra.
