Inspired by an amazing true story from the Siamese War, Bang Rajan is an epic cinematic masterpiece, which celebrates the legendary courage, sacrifice and ingenuity of a single group of village warriors who stood up to the imperial might of the invading Burmese army in 1765.

In 1765, near the Siamese capital of Ayutthaya north of Bangkok, for five months the villagers of Bang Rajan desperately struggle to hold out against the might of invading Burmese forces...

Filmed on location in Thailand and winner of 11 Surasawasdee awards (the most ever for a single film), Tanit Jitnukul's epic recreation of a defining moment in Siamese history is not to be missed!
