HUGE ?

Was 399 now 379.

Was 89 now 79.

Nope not huge

Not knocking the effort, but these seem like typical Argos deals, inflated rrp for a few weeks before.
Can get comparable stuff at most garden retailers.

Mostly £20 savings on quite expensive items, nothing to get excited about let's face it

The Porto Cast Aluminium 2 Seater Bistro Set WAS £164.99 NOW £129.99, is still £164.99 on the Argos website! are these instore only deals?
Also Pricehistory.co.uk suggests this was £119.99 a month ago

Excellent point

all these "deals" and i don't mean just this argos deal i mean most stores inc tesco etc, are all cons knock a few quid off of the previous price but inflate the "sale" savings by stating its highest ever price. For instance the hammock was 34.99 before the sale so actually saved a fiver and not the almost £15 they'd like you to believe. Thank you prady for the comparison site. things like this create savvy shoppers, and when savvy shoppers stop buying into these fabricated bank holiday deals they'll start making real sales. Each year the public get more and more clued up and news reports sales down, like black friday, i've hardly ever found anything significantly cheaper in the hype sales better of checking HUKD lol. sorry for thread hijack

price history of hammock:
01 April 2017\x09£34.99
22 January 2017\x09£43.99
28 September 2016\x09£39.99
18 August 2016\x09£22.99
30 June 2016\x09£24.99
22 January 2016\x09£39.99

Junk.
