I'm sure there are many people that enjoy seeing the near constant deals posted, I mean it's not like you can get tired of seeing the same old sort of crap being posted day after day, is it?

Plus the fact this can allegedly output 8 watts on the UHF band by people that aren't necessarily licenced or trained means there's the wonderful bonus of legitimate radio users being interfered with. So that's just great.

Maybe there is no point in any mobile phone deals on here then.

If you do have or want to get an Amateur Radio licence then you would use this to talk to the other Amateur Radio licencees who already have their radios. In the 2M or 70CM bands, and it has the offset function for repeaters.

Here is a map of all the 70CM (UHF) repeaters in the UK. which could be accessed using this little radio
(and there are just as many 2M ones)

Which radios?
This is usually around this price. Plus imagine if it doesn't work and return it back to China! It's cost more than buying one new. Cold!

Ok. My bad. I thought it was just your standard 2 way walkie. Your title doesn’t make it clear it’s also a cb.

There's a point to buying two of them. As I pointed out in a similar posting, in the event of an EMP attack, these would be extremely useful items to have providing of course when not in use they are kept stored in a Faraday bag or cage.
A lot a car deals get mention on these threads. But no-one ever comments on the need for a licence. Why can't we all be like that

Indeed.
Back in the day on the the illegal 27meg AM frequency I spent many weekends chatting up a lady breaker called Snowflake, had the sexiest voice ever.
I then went to meet her at an eyeball with my handle proudly emblazoned across my T-shirt.
Lets just say I quickly positioned my arm strategically across the front of my T-shirt and made a hasty exit through the doors.
Snowflake? More like iceberg.
Southwales: Do Baofeng sell any cheap encrypted radios?

I’m not that interested in radios these days but I still buy them for reasons beyond I don’t understand especially the old 10/11m SSB sets.
Tried a few of these cheap handsets and they are scarily good for the peanuts outlay.

Lets not put up deals for cars & motorcycles. As people that aren't necessarily licenced or trained means there's the wonderful bonus of legitimate car and motorcycle users being interfered with. So that's just great.
Live out your stranger things fantasy
I just received a set of Baofeng walkie talkies for my grandson and I found the build quality and reception to be excellent. Comparable to the pre digital police radios I used to use before they changed to encryption.
