You need a holiday markbowen, somebody goes out of their way to put a brilliant deal on and you try and pick fault. Get a grip.

Might be worth posting a tread on Barbados mentioning that if you want to book a late Barbados flight that you will get it for around the£300 mark with a week or two's notice without relisting the same flights different dates every couple of days? Just a thought

check out private apartments and villas, we stayed in some amazing places (mainly west coast) at reasonable prices

Did this trip last week from gatwick. Fantastic, stayed with family
Caution note on hand luggage
Couple in front of me got charged £75.00 because 1 piece of hand luggage was 9kg and the check-in desk would not allow them to carry it onto the plane. had to be checked in as normal baggage

Package holidays

Checked-in luggage: You're entitled to a 15kg luggage allowance on our package holidays. Certain types of holiday come with a bigger allowance of 20kg - this is clearly shown whilst you're booking if it applies.

Hand luggage: You can take 1 piece of hand luggage weighing up to 5kg and with maximum dimensions of 55x40x20cm. On some holidays you're allowed 7kg - this will be clearly shown whilst you're booking if it applies. Things like laptops, handbags and items bought at the airport must fit within your 1 piece of hand luggage. You must be able to lift your hand luggage into the overhead storage compartments yourself. These rules also apply if you're carrying a Trunki case onboard.

Flight only bookings

Hand luggage: If you're just booking a flight, you can carry 1 piece of hand luggage of up to 5kg for free. The maximum dimensions of your hand luggage can be 55x40x20cm and you must be able to lift your hand luggage into the overhead storage compartments yourself. Things like laptops, handbags and items bought at the airport must fit within your 1 piece of hand luggage.

Checked-in luggage: You can book checked-in luggage for an extra charge whilst you're booking, or through our Flight Extras website if you've already booked.

Booking your luggage allowance online is cheaper than paying by phone or at the airport.

Premium Club
Upgrade to Premium Club on Thomson Airways flights and you'll get a luggage allowance of 23kg as well as 7kg hand baggage. You can do this whilst you're booking or by visiting our Flight Extras website.

Infants
Infants under 2 years old get a 10kg luggage allowance with Thomson Airways. You can also take a pushchair for free. If you're not travelling with Thomson Airways, you'll need to check with your airline.

thanks for the tip Askrulous, I will look into this.

What have Thomson done to their website? Its virtually unusable for searching in an iPad. Badly designed websites lose a lot of intended custom. Sort it out Thomson!

cheers, good luck searching! and don't put off by apartments, last one was better than a 'luxury' villa we stayed at (imho)

Another fab deal! SunshineStacey you are a credit to this site! unfortunately there is always the one "bah humbug" who tries to put a downer on it. Your efforts are appreciated by a lot!

Anything like this departing in mid-March?

Its very difficult - you post the flight with a hotel and everyone grumbles the hotel is pants, you post the flight without the hotel and people moan there is no hotel. You cannot please everyone on this forum no matter what you do.

Your right. Same old.
