Only from Virgin Holidays, the Savannah Beach is a beautiful resort offering some of the best accommodation on the South Coast. When it comes to family holidays, children and teens are extremely well catered for at this hotel, there is a fantastic family entertainment centre to keep even the most energetic children entertained, featuring the Pirates Cove Kids' Club for the smaller ones and Finn’s Surf Lodge for the older ones featuring the latest in interactive social gaming technology. If you are here to relax, simply chill out by one of 2 swimming pools, on the beach, at one of the bars and restaurants or book yourself a relaxing massage at the spa. There really is something for everyone here.
Eats and Drinks

3 restaurants; the main restaurant, Rachel's has a twist on Caribbean/International fare, open for buffet breakfast daily, and gourmet à la carte dinner 5 nights a week and buffet dining twice weekly. The Beach restaurant and bar is open 7 days a week for lunch and 5 nights a week for dinner serving a wide range of barbecue, pastas, grilled fish and burgers for lunch and in the evening a themed dinner including Mexican, Indian, Chinese as well as Caribbean cuisine. There is also an Asian fusion* restaurant called Chopstix open 5 nights a week for dinner (16 years and over only, a supplement of Bds$25 per person will apply). 4 bars including a late night bar that opens from 11.00pm – 1.00am. A coffee station is available in the main restaurant. Afternoon tea will be served daily.

Live entertainment 5 nights per week, including themed nights and floor shows. Brunch on a Sunday (Bds$25 per person supplement).
Fun and Games

2 Swimming pools 1 that meanders, beach volleyball and boogie boards and snorkels available. Spa*. Excellent family entertainment centre with foosball table, table tennis, basket ball machine and darts, as well as a supervised Pirates Cove Kids' Club (3- 8 years) and Finn’s Lodge (9-16 years), a real den for the older kids to have their own space and featuring the latest in interactive gaming consoles, and mixing decks for budding DJ’s. (The friendly kids' club staff have UK equivalent qualifications.) Beach activites include nature trails, shell collecting for craft activities and sandcastle competitions. Beach games: cricket, volleyball, football and kite flying. Once a week there is a beach party at lunchtime for the whole family to enjoy, with egg and spoon races, sack races, hula hoop competitions for both adults and children alike. Movie afternoons: with popcorn and suitable for kids of all ages. For those youngsters who would like an introduction to the spa this too is child friendly with special sessions just for them. 'Changing of the guard' takes place just across the road at the Main Guard at the Garrison Historic Area near the race track, 5 min walk away, why not take your camera to capture some memories or take the hotels shuttle to Barbados Museum (local charge of Bds$7), 10 min away. There's certainly more to Barbados than just great hotels and wonderful beaches.

Gift shop*, Gym, departure day shower facilities, complimentary shuttle to St Lawrence Gap twice weekly, leaving the hotel at 7pm and returning at 11pm. Virgin Holidays Concierge lounge on site. Complimentary WiFi available in some rooms and certain areas of the hotel.
Room Information

94 rooms and suites on up to 4 floors in 5 buildings with 2 lifts and a plantation house. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, in-room safe, alarm clock, radio, fridge, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, bath and shower. The Plantation House Rooms are situated in the historic Savannah building close to the road. Warmly furnished with traditional Barbadian furniture adding to the historical Plantation theme with 1 king-size bed, sleeping max 2 adults and 1 child, child to be accommodated on a rollaway bed.

Holy moley, my school finishes on 11th July. If only I had some money...
virgin holidays check in chill out which is a nice touch they come to your hotel give you your boarding pass and take your bags to the airport so you can enjoy the last day of your holiday.So you can get ready for the long night flight home

I've just come back from Barbados 2 weeks ago and this is well worth the price. spent over £1000 just on flights and spending money for me alone. so £800 all inclusive is well worth it!!

This holiday, under £1k per person, in August and from Gatwick - would be perfect. Hope theres some deals flying about in a few months.
