Hurracaine season....?
Edited by: "mrwhitelabel" 20th Oct 2015

Yeah man (sorry I'm getting my islands mixed up).

Been there, surrounded by ocean (good for surfers) and or Caribbean sea for relaxing side.

Prices as low probably because of mansoon season and not long ago there was earthquake, scares tourists away.

I would disagree about hurricane/monsoon season.... mid November is typically a great time to visit the Caribbean! This is a total bargain. The Dreamliner is a very comfortable plane too!

Who needs hold luggage for £60 a pop? Just need to pack a bikini/mankini and a smile!

Why! Why! Why don't these deals happen when I've got time offfffffff

surrounded by ocean? what do you think is going to be there?

comments like that and saying tourists get scared of earthquakes are just stupid.

there wasn't a earthquake is was seismic waves and vibrations.

an please I don't think Rihanna or Lewis Hamilton or the thousands of people that fly in for Crop Over this year where worried about that!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just booked last week!

You're about 5000 miles off if you think the monsoon is in the Caribbean

Thanks. Although just checked on their Web booking and it would cost nearly £2000 for those dates.

Cant believe those prices party of 6 went april 2013 paid nothing like that might be worth emailing the hotel or trying to book via 3rd party

Few tips:-

Hurricanes pretty much never affect the island

There are only a few all-inclusive resorts, you don't need to stay in them. Barbados is miles better explored and trying the cuisine

Everyone is lovely!

I went last year in September, and it was the best holiday I've ever been on. We only stayed in a cheap apartment, and did it all on a budget - but I miss the place every day!

Ooo.... very, very tempted.
My first ever job was in Barbados (30+ years ago). I lived and worked there for nearly 4 years.... loved it!
I still miss it very much. If you can - do it!

You do increase your chance of banging Rihanna if you are somewhere near her...

Have a look at Blue Bay Travel. We are off to Mexico staying at the Finest Playa Mujeres for two weeks in November with upgrades at a cost under your budget. Reviews are excellent. 5*

Yeah with a club!

That time of year its still quite wet, humid and coming to the end of Hurricane season. Winter season does not kick of until mid December.

If the weathers right it could be great, if it isn't its a hot and sticky week or two with the chance of being blown home before the plane comes!

wow - deal expired - just got my two flights booked! Was looking at Jamaica on same dates - but this deal is too good to miss. Happy days!! must have had the last two seats!

Now for hotels - any recommendations / good deals? Assume Caribbean side is preferable?
