I'm gutted. I bought this in December from allweathers for something like £85, but I guess it's still worth every penny.

Brilliant bag (much better than the standard Wax tarras and thorn proof tarras bags in my opinion). "Icons" is a limited edition range I recall (to celebrate 150 years of Barbour).

Well made, high quality and will last for many years even with daily use. You really can't go wrong. No doubt this will sell out quickly.

Think before voting cold... This isn't a high street bag that will last barely a year (which can cost £30+ anyway). It's almost half of the RRP price and the cheapest price online at the moment. The official Barbour site is selling it for £108

Yep, great price for a long lasting bag
Nice bag, if only I needed a new messenger...
I like the Hikerdelic collaboration they did. Currently £89 (+ delivery no doubt) at END endclothing.com/gb/…tml

That's a great bag too and a good price. Back when I bought this one I saw that one (more expensive at the time) and was tempted. I almost bought both but I talked myself out of it by telling myself the webbing would just get caught in things (When actually I just couldn't afford both around Christmas time )
Ordered, thanks OP
Nice bag and good deal, but the bag is a bit more blue than displayed, probably just because of the photo. The sage one has a blue top flap and detailing

That looks very blue in the pic. I've never noticed it as blue as that really....

Unless it's my eyes or just as it's evening and the ceiling light is on it.

Is it one of those eye trick things making it seem even more blue on the site...

Anybody know if this is same bag as the one at fenwick's for £40.50?

Not a chance in a million years

Edit: through a google search (not on the main site) I've come across it and it is the same one.

Although, it doesn't mean it was ever that price. What I've seen happen with a few shops like that is once they've sold out of a product, they keep the product up and suddenly drop the price to a crazy, but not totally unbelievable amount. People then searching google for the product come across it at that amazing price (OOS of course) and think "wow, what other bargains does this site have?"

It's a clever marketing strategy really

Looks same, must've been clearance price

Yeah just saw that now. I'd put all my money on it never really being that price, even at clearance. It's just a trick some retailers use to get people browsing and buying from their site
Delivery to Northern Ireland is excessive (£9.95). Otherwise a good deal
Nice bag, ruined by having a label on it. Classier not to brand it.

Maybe, but it's different to the mainstream logo branding (Hugo boss, Ralph Lauren, etc) which people often wear in an attempt to show off. Some Barbour stuff is getting a bit mainstream but for most of their range, people love the quality and like the logo on their trusted 10 year old waxed coat or bag because they are proud of the brand for serving them well over those years.

Ugh. I'd hate the notion of being proud of a clothes brand and so much so that I want to showcase it to the world.
It matters less on casual stuff like a gym bag but if it's an item I want to respect, it needs to be well made but also unbranded. I might buy it reluctantly with discreet branding but it's always a negative for me.
