I'd like to add I recently sold an XL in this and an XL is equal to a Medium regular international. The pit to pit was 48 on an XL so a wearable 44/46 depending on season.

I wear Barbour , having various for all weather and countryside pursuits. I find their sizing pretty consistent except when you get to their premium. then you can drop up to 2 of your sizes, so be prepared to send back. International I use for thin layering only as they are a more modern style and slimmer fit. One Tip, If they have plastic zippers, as with summer ones, they are not up to much
Barbouring but are stylish leaning to slim fit and youthful.. Hope that helps someone. Best time to buy is sales where you can pick up £500 jackets for sometimes 1/2 price...a steal. Try House of Fraser too for city ones..........

Yeah I have a Steve McQueen international in medium and it’s ample size , I did buy this very jacket and had to buy XL to get the same size and the regular medium. They are very nice jackets but they do run smaller kinda like china sizes.
