Quite liked the look of this but a little pricey for me. 10+ in stock at 20.00 so might be of interest to someone.

Hmm, paying for the label here surely? A quick visit to your local army surplus store will find something much the same that'll serve you for decades.

But, if it's the label you want

Sorry friend, the title was lifted from the website. I've amended it.
Great deal......Barbour stuff really lasts. My jacket is over 15 years old, classic style and just keeps on performing perfectly.

Might have a punt on this....cheers op
The ludicrous price is all about the name Barbour..... if your mug enough to buy into that or want to look like you're part of the country set.
As for wax cotton, its horrible stuff..... its not that hard wearing, it stinks, the wax rubs off onto other clothing, you have to reapply the wax to keep its limited waterproofness and its not that waterproof anyway.
You'd need to be mad in the head...
I had a waxed barbour jacket in the past you have to re-wax it regularly if you want to retain an waterproof-ness the waxing offers as it rubs off on to any and everything, not worth the effort
Old School... Much Better and Keenly Priced Tech
after so many years with hukd, I probably shouldn't be surprised at the reaction to half price Barbour goods. would've thought the expression "goes without saying" applies to most of these comments though (modern tech is more waterproof, brands do usually cost more, wax smells of wax). I suppose some people might not know that to keep waxed cotton waterproof, you need to wax it occasionally so a valid point.
but if you do want this bag, is it a good price? glad one person was pleased
I've seen the same bag in TKMAX (online) for £49.99!
