They do give low credit limits. I've got a good rating and only got £3500 when opening an account with no transfers.
Great deal photo
When I applied last year for a similar deal with them, I got 9000£ limit which was good enough for me. I am not sure what exact criteria they use. My credit rating is good as well.
I like the picture. says everything about credit card.
It would be great imho if the name "credit card " could be changed to "debt card ".If that were the case it may change the way they are used.
Have some heat for the picture!

Strange. They probably didn't like me. It was a 0% purchases one with a long date on.

Why? I use a credit card and have no effective debt, due to me using them exclusively for paying for my monthly expenses and paying it off entirely at the end of each month. In return I get points to spend on a flights.

Why should a tool as useful as a credit card be stigmatised when in reality it'd just be smarter to have proper financial education for kids.

Exactly, just because some people are too thick to manage their finances, shouldn't mean others cannot take advantage of credit.

You are absolutely correct, those millions of people who are just too thick and run up debts they cant pay back. Damn them!

It may sound harsh, but to take on debt that you know you have no means to repay is not exactly clever. Obviously this is not always so simple, as in people's financial situation can change quickly, and what you once could afford can suddenly become a noose around your neck.
lol, have some more heat for that picture. Perfect for this deal
Had an "offer" on my existing Barclaycard the other day, giving me 0% interest for any new balances transferred to it for 12 months.

Great I thought, until I read the small print about a 5 % balance transfer fee on that
