Barclaycard Bespoke Offers Beat My Price - similar to Flubit but more websites
Might only be available to those invited via email so look out for the Bespoke Offers email.

Seems to be a a bit like Flubit but for more websites as you just enter the URL.

Taken from Bespoke Offers T&Cs (https://www.bespokeoffers.co.uk/consumer/terms):

Beat My Price

Beat My Price Offers are generated on a specific demand from you on the basis of the information you have submitted through the Beat My Price button. They are made available to you especially for a limited period of time as detailed in the Offer Specific Terms, subject to availability. We offer, on behalf of a Merchant, and do cannot guarantee stock availability even if the Offer has not expired yet.

If you decide to accept the Offer, you will place an order through our Site directly with the Merchant. In placing the order, you will accept the Merchant Terms and Conditions and Returns Policy. Following the acceptance of the Offer and placing of the Order with the Merchant, you should contact the Merchant with any queries.

Purchasing through the Site

For some Merchants we can take you through the ordering / redemption process on behalf of the Merchant. As part of the process we will ask you to read and accept the Merchant Terms and Conditions and Returns policy. Your contract for the purchase and delivery of goods and /or services is with the Merchant, not us and any queries in relation to such orders should be directed to the Merchant.

PURCHASING BEAT MY PRICE OFFERS

Once you have submitted a demand on the 'Beat My Price' button, we will send you an email within 48 hours, to the email address you provided on registration, to inform you whether we have found a Merchant who can provide a better price for the product you have requested. Should we find a better offer for you for the specific product we will make that offer available to you, on behalf of the Merchant, under the 'available' tab within your profile, for a limited period of time (for example 48 hours). The Merchant cannot hold the stock while the offer is available. Should the Merchant run out of stock you may not be able to purchase the product and in that case we will notify you. Upon expiry, the Offer will appear under the 'expired' tab within your profile. If you purchase the Offer before its expiry it will appear under the 'purchased' tab with all the relevant terms and conditions and the contact details of the Merchant.

May not be so good for quick lived offers.

Sharing the information here as I received an email about it today stating I have been chosen to beone of the first to try the new service.

I have not yet tried the Beat My Price service but will report back if and when I try it out.

Hopefully it will be of use to some people.

Reported from fellow HUKD members as working with the following merchants:

Game
Asda Direct
Currys (not tested PC world but assume it works as is the same)
Tesco Grocery e.g. games
Tesco Direct
Argos
Amazon
Toys r us

Thanks op

By invite only and Beta.

I used the link and signed up without the need to have an email invite. Made a purchase too. Should be interesting to see how this site develops.

Anything would be an improvement on Flubit - hopeless outfit. [Edit: Oh God - it IS Flubit! Even worse!]

Mikem. You have probably registered for the standard bespoke offers. Anyone can do this. It's the buy it scheme that is new. There is no link for this.

Flubit is ok. Not brilliant though.

flubit saved me a few quid on dvd's at xmas so not bad!

Would rather trust Barclays than flubit, let's hope this turns out good

Flubit isn't good for those either.

Have had the beta trial for a little while - not used it but tested and works on merchants such as Game

It seems to work for loads of sites you can test for yourself by just pasting a product url in and seeing if it accepts:

Some other merchants:

Asda Direct
Currys (not tested PC world but assume it works as is the same)
Tesco Grocery e.g. games

My experience of Flubit has been that it isn't good for anything! For a start, they supplied a different item from the one that Amazon were selling (they supplied an obsolete, and cheaper model), but to make matters worse they then refused to accept that it wasn't the same item, despite long arguments with them.

Flubit isn't a company you could possibly trust to supply the item you think you're getting, and my experiences with them illustrate clearly to me that they're not going to sort out warranty issues properly either.

You might save a small amount of money with Flubit - but in the longer term it's likely to cost you a lot more than you save. And even that's if they choose to send you the product you thought you were buying!

Definitely agree with this. Do not even think about returning anything purchased from flubit. The merchant said they did not receive the return yet I had proof of purchase and flubit would not take responsibility and refund my money. AVOID.

Don't have an issue with Flubit, saved a few quid over xmas. Returned one item (changed my mind) and was refunded immediately (even before the item had reached them).

I think you've been very lucky! I read very little about Flubit that's positive. My dealings with them have been problematic throughout - long delays in delivery, followed by delivery of an obsolete item that wasn't the one Amazon were supplying.

Never again!!!

I agree that if I was in a rush for an item, I would definately avoid Flubit!

Saved about £40 through Flubit - will be interested to see how this compares. Did have a problem with a £20 item being shipped from abroad and custom charges not being paid - but they did reimburse me.

As above our dealings with flubit have been mainly BAD some good, issues with them:

1) NOT getting demands processed within their std designated time frames - happened a few times now, so obviously prices fluctuate over a few days/weeks
2) NOT honouring orders placed as they magically can't find stock when they bother to try to send goods weeks later
3) Sending the goods out weeks after the order has been accepted (hoping prices go down so they can sell for the price they had offered - probably)
4) As others have said time sensitive orders (ie Amazon daily deals or similar) - no point even asking for an offer as they never send an offer within their timeframe
5) Demand prices are higher than whats on the Amazon website - happened a few times with me with items being sold by other sellers but amazon is also listed as a seller but their price was lower yet flubit takes the higher price, even though the link has the correct lower price? So you ended up with an offer higher than Amazon's already reduced price!

Overall not a company you want to use for items you want. If you don't care about receiving the item then worth a punt otherwise avoid

Oh voted HOT on the deal by the way anything is better than FluSh*t

Flubit has steadily been reducing the number of categories they will make an offer on. Fashion, food, grocery, viitamins/supplements, some household, jewellery and more now get rejected. They're still good, and I use them regularly, just not quite what they originally were. I guess that's not a surprise considering.

He acted like he will solve my problems but at the end he didn't. Never go back to Flubit since then. I doubt I'll have a go with this website either.

Ahhhh......Bertie Stevens ([email protected]) - the 'CEO' who never bothers to respond to complaints. As hopeless to deal with as his wretched little company.

God - imagine, a combination of the appalling Flubit with the equally appalling Bespoke. A marriage made in heaven - unless you happen to be a poor customer.

Does anyone know if it will work with Shopto?

Never had a problem with flubit. Just waiting on how long the discount will be. I use quidco as my cashback site and they aren't so good with Amazon so go through flubit for that.

Got the email and was shocked as I had been chosen but they never chose to send me a email about the Amazon vouchers and with their track record and payment system I expect that they would give you a price and then not be able to accept payment

I received an invite from Bespoke to try this... I gave them a URL for an item from Amazon.... The offer came back with "Fireworks Merchant Limited" as the supplier - which IS Flubit!
So either Bespoke are 'sub contracting' Amazon stuff to Flubit, or Flubit is actually running this for Bespoke...?

read the top post.

This IS flubit

Had one issue across 50-60 transactions with Flubit where they sent me a wrong pet food.
One email later, they apologised, got the right one sent out to me next day delivery and i had it 24 hours later.

Only fair to dish out a positive against the many negatives here

I've saved around over 80 quid on 19 orders with Flubit, and that's after ensuring Amazon (and others back when Flubit was available for more than just Amazon) were the cheapest for the item. Never had an issue with them other than them not being the quickest to dispatch, but I'm rarely in a hurry.

I submitted the same demand to Flubit, and Bespoke at the same time (for some vacuum bags), flubit come back within 12 hours, bespoke still says my price is expected on 12/01

So, run by Flubit or not, they aren't providing the same level of service!

I'd like to try this, is there any sure fire way to get an invite so I can sign up? or is it just a case of waiting and hoping bespoke will invite me?

Can never understand the bad press Flubit gets these days? Maybe I'm just lucky X)

I still use them regularly and I saved well over £30 at Christmas alone on stuff from Amazon that was the cheapest around to start with...

The bad press Flubit gets comes from ex-customers like me who were supplied goods which were different from the ones Amazon were selling, or maybe who have gone back to Flubit on warranty issues and found them as unhelpful as I found them.

At least with Amazon they take customer service seriously, and you know the goods they supply will be the current model (not an old model, which is what Flubit supplied). You also know they won't be fake - which is more than you can say for some Marketplace and eBay sellers. Flubit use suppliers you're likely never to have heard of - how can you be sure that the stuff they're selling isn't fake or grey imports?

Fair do's, they're good reasons. I personally can't fault them though, having said that I mainly only buy media/books etc. So there's not really much that can go wrong with that...

I personally like Flubit and have 'saved' a lot of money (over £100) using it. I say 'saved' because a lot of the time Flubit actually enables me to buy more. Where as before I would just think "that's too expensive I can't afford it" I now think "well I might just be able to afford it if I use flubit" so the saving is debatable but it is always nice to get things under their normal price.

However, what annoys me (and many others I'm sure) is when they take your order (and usually payment too) just to cancel it a couple of days later because the price on Amazon changed. This has happened to me MANY times. You get that annoying patronising email with the stock "sorry it ran out of stock" message, which you just know is just utter s**t, what it really means is "it changed price so would cost us more to source it so you can't have it" Of course by then the item has either gone up at Amazon or sold out altogether, so you can't get it at all or end up getting fleeced for it if its something you really must have.

interesting

flubit was ridiculous for me half of what i wanted they dont deal with and what they do when i put in the memory card that was 22.60 they came back to me saying they can make me a saving of 40% of retail by charging me 40 pounds
